USB Front Panel Adapter, Vertical USB 3.1 Front Panel Socket Key-A Type-E to 3.0 19/20Pin Header Adapter

I case-swapped my MSI B450 Gaming Pro Carbon motherboard inside my NZXT H5 Elite, and it does not have a Type C connector. So I found this, which is a different type of USB to USB 3 internal connector, and I wanted to make the USB C port on my gaming PC work. Overall, it's a great product; it functions great.

Works perfectly and is fast enough. I have no issues with it.

This adapter worked as advertised, the ASUS B550-f motherboard did not have the connector for the USB-C port the Corsair case. For less than 10 dollars I got the port on the front io working in minutes.

Becare the female connector has extremely tight tolerances and it's easy to bend the pins on the motherboard header when installing if you are not careful. Edit: I changed my rating from a 2 to a 4 because the manufacturer reached out to me and is investigating the issue. The fact a manufacturer stand behind their products carries a lot of weight and they are genuinely concerned. I have seen a few other reviews that have had similar experiences. They said the connector was a bit snug, but it make just be the same thing I am experiencing. Anyways, even with thie issue I had with this connector, I have purchased other products from this company and they have all worked wonderfully without any issues, so I am feeling confident this is just an issue they weren't aware of. As such I will absolutely buy other products from this manufacturer.

Plug n play. This was a nice and easy workaround as my replacement MB did not come with the proper USB header. Having this allowed me to repurpose the USB-C port in the front panel of my PC using an available USB 3.1 header. It feels quite snug and no connectivity issues experienced after. Highly recommended 👍🏼

Initial thoughts are it is good, it seemed to be decently quick for my front panel connector on my case, can't complain yet. As long as everything continues to work as it currently is it will remain 5 stars as it allowed me to convert a standard USB plug on the motherboard to a USB C on my front panel case. For the price I'd say it should be a tiny bit cheaper but overall it's good.

A little sketchy to put in if it's not outside of the case but it works as expected.

I mainly wanted this for my iems that i use with dac and my motherboard had only one type c port at the back. For me this worked perfectly, as I didn't need any higher transfer speed.
