Got these for winter produce and really pleased with the results. Almost all have grew out in the garden when put directly into the soil. Still growing well in November, so would definitely recommend. Hope to have some good sized radishes soon! 😋

I love the delicate pepperyness of mooli or daikon as they’re known so when I see these I dived straight in and bought 2 packs. I sowed them in late March and 6 weeks later I was picking baby daikons! So cute!!! Perfect in salads, stir fry’s or made into Korean radish kimchi or Chinese pickled radishes. Unlike the red salad radishes you see in supermarkets in the uk the white variety’s tend to be sweeter and less peppery. Give them a try! Also the tops are delicious stir fried with a little oil and garlic than sprinkled with some soy sauce! Don’t throw those leaves. You can also let a few plants to your seed where you will get beautiful pink tinged white flowers that the butterflies love and after wards you’re left beautiful spear shaped seed pods that are also super tasty when picked young before they turn woody. Eaten like mange tout but with a distinct radish flavour.
