Minecraft: The Survivors' Book of Secrets: An Official Mojang Book

This is a very cool survival guide for Minecraft. It's not written as a story, just a well-illustrated "how-to" book with lots of little tips and tricks to get things done in Minecraft. My son keeps it next to the computer and uses it as a reference when playing. Great little book for the person who loves Minecraft.

This book is a great book! It includes everything about PVP and setting up a base, as well as on how to defeat minecraft mobs. This book is not for beginners, it is more likely for advanced minecrafters. The book contains information on how to set up a pretty good base, if you are a complete looser at defeating other players, then this book will teach you how to deal with them. When I bought the book it came in hardcover and was quite small, but it had a vintage look other than most books. It has 105 pages as well as some pages for you to write down your own stuff. The pages are not color, but they have veery nice illustrations. This book was also written by the author that wrote minecraft essential handbook. This book covers evreything in 1.9 so if it is outdated, then don't be bummed out. The book is a great read.Other than that, there is not much to say, bye!!

I picked up a copy of this book after I saw one page from it on reddit. If you’re super into Minecraft you should probably already have this book. I had to buy a second one for a friend because he couldn’t put it down either. Lots of fun ideas and useful information.

A very brief collection of tips on how to survive in Minecraft. The book is short, which should make it a nice read for kids interested in Minecraft. I realize the book is modeled after WW2-esque survival books for soldiers abroad, where brevity and portability are crucial, but I was hoping for a bit more. Given that goal of being a 'survival handbook' rather than a fully fleshed-out guide, the book never goes into too much detail about how to do things; it is more about planting the idea of doing something, rather than giving a step-by-step guide--although it does have some nice instructional drawings that complement the text.As brief as the book is, a sizable chunk of the book is dedicated to combat--fighting and tricking other players or mobs. I would've preferred that same level of dedication to other aspects of the game, like mining, farming, exploration and map-making, redstone and automation, village and villager mechanics (including breeding and trading), the Nether, and the End, all of which were either only briefly mentioned or not mentioned at all.That said, I do recommend the book. I love the matte/textured feel and color of the hardcover, and I think it looks nice on a bookshelf.

This book is super cute. I don't play minecraft that much anymore, but I really like what Mojang did with this book. The suggestions and strategies in there are great for anyone playing the game and there is a good range of content in terms of level of complexity. It's a great present for any Minecrafter you know, and looks good on a shelf in addition to being fun to read.

My 8YO son loves the book so much that it is with him all the time. Day or night.

This was a great book! My son loved it. "Amazingly well drawn, well written, nicely furnished. I loved it, and the tips were extremely good, helpful, and not widely known. It's good to have not-widely known secrets known to you because you can use these to help you make and raid bases. I'd recommend this to all my Minecrafter friends!"

A lot of "rare" information that's not everyone knows in vanilla minecraft . Even tho I knew most of the contents before it's still a great buy . It offers a lot than you can expect .

This book is brilliant! Extremely well written. Advance and to the point instructions. I'm an adult and wanted straight up info. This book nails it! Very pleased... 90% of the books out there are junk. This one is a must have.

my son says that he likes the cover and that it tought him things that he didn't know. he said that it would be better if the pics were in color. he thought that it was for more for people who play the game more because it tells you to have enchanted diamond armor but that is hard to get. he was begging us to get and we finnaly said yes. my son thought it was a fabulous book overall because ut taught him how to properely defend your base and how to riad someone elses base AND how to defeat boss mobs. personally i hppp
