Mighty Mug Plastic Travel Mug, No Spill Double Wall Tumbler, Cold/Hot, Cup-Holder Friendly, Dishwasher Safe, (Purple, 12oz)

We received one of these mugs as a gift several years ago. Recently bought another one because of its effectiveness. It does not spill, it has never been knocked over. The easy lift up works. It has been dropped and involved in accidents many times over the years and it has not come open or been scratched. Excellent product

Does not keep coffee hot for too long. Not like my vacuumed sealed thermos. However better insulation than a styrofoam cup or a glass mug. The cup seals very well and does not leak. The best part about this cup is that it can’t be knocked over. I work on electronics from a work bench and I am always knocking things over with my elbows. Yes, and I always seem to knock over my coffee and beverages. Liquids don’t work well with electronic especially when that liquid is sugared or sweetened. This cup can not be knocked over even after striking the cup with force. However, if you lift the cup straight up, it lifts easily. The base of the cup has a special suction base that sticks well to smooth non porous surfaces. My workbench is wooden and has no problem forming a very strong bond. Lifting the cup releases the suction instantly due to some very creative engineering. Love this cup! Already save me a ton of spills. Very satisfied.

After getting the bowls for kids that they aren't supposed to be able to pick up, and it took all of 4 seconds for them to lift them, I didn't have super high hopes for this. But our cat constantly knocks cups/mugs/glasses/tumblers/everything full of liquid off our counters so I had to at least try it. As soon as I got it, I put it on our kitchen island and bumped it - didn't move. Very solid. And then I picked it up - super easy. I was shocked, pleasantly so. I've now left it on our dining room table several nights in a row - and it's not moved.So it does depend on the surface - our rough wood livingroom table doesn't work (but other finished wood does - and pretty much all flat non-porous ones). If you bump the bottom or rotate it, it is movable - but I don't think our cat has figured that out yet.Very easy to clean in the dishwasher (top shelf). The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it's a bit smaller than other mugs I've used before.

I finally found the perfect mug that I can carry in my work bag! I picked the color purple but I didn’t pay attention that it would come in plastic not stainless steel. As a result, it doesn’t keep coffee hot and it’s not microwave safe. I did notice that after I fill the mug, close the lid, the coffee bubbles upwards inside the mug and spills out. This happens when I try to put it in my bag. When it does this, I open the lid and let it settles and try again. It’s a minor inconvenience but I’m still happy with it. I plan on buying the stainless steel mug and keeping my current one for cold drinks.

This cup is not only attractive, it can’t be knocked over. It really works. When my wife first tried it, you should have seen the look on her face. She was so surprised at how it works. I particularly like the way it allows you to pick it up when you grab it in a certain way. It’s very natural feeling. Very recommended product.

(updated review) I loved this thing at first, but after several months of use I've changed my opinion a bit.- For starters, yes you can use it for hot or cold beverages, but I suggest picking one use and sticking with it. I used it for coffee once and after that normal water tasted like dirt for weeks. Still kind of does.- I also found that putting faith in the mug actually made me more careless over time, meaning the mug was really being put to the test! That wouldn't have been an issue if the mug was truly as mighty as it's name suggests. However, as well as it performs *sometimes*, I've had accidents that were a direct result of the mug's feature as well.- The suction cup becomes a little inconsistent over time. Sometimes it's too weak and will move or tip when bumped. Sometimes it's too strong and releases after my fingers lose grip - causing a sudden jolt of momentum that always ends in chaos and wet surroundings.- Overall, for as much as it solves some of the problem of being a bit careless or clumsy, it also tends to creates the new problem of not being 100% reliable.Does it prevent more spills? Maybe... But when spills do occur (and they still will), it's a little more frustrating than usual because you've bought a product that's supposed to prevent them. There's another layer of disappointment added to the situation. If you're a frugal person, you may even have another layer of frustration over money spent on sub-optimal performance.- So in conclusion; is it worth it? I think it depends on your expectations and your personal situation. For me, it feels a little more gimmicky than I'd hoped it would be.(previous review) This thing is better than I expected. Such a cool invention. I spill a glass of water or a mug of coffee at least twice a week, and this was my wife's gift to me to solve that problem.It works so well, I plan to get get at least one more, and maybe even a few more when we have kids (no juice spills!).It's also fun to just smack it around. Like, I kinda can't help just giving it a slap or a cheeky chop now and then. Highly recommend!

It works great on solid surfaces. I am happy to have purchased this.

Ich bin echt jedes mal erstaunt, wie sicher der Becher auf dem Tisch steht und auch durch leichtes Anstupsen nicht umfällt.Alleine in den letzten 4 Wochen wären normale Becher mehrmals umgekippt (dank Katzen).Dieser hier steht bombenfest und hält auch mittestarke Stöße aus.

Because of the price (70 euro's), I thought I would get 6 mugs for the price of 5, but it turns out 6x is part of the 3 dimensions of the cup. That's totally my fault, but in case anyone thinks the same way, it's only one, and it's cheaper to buy this locally. It's probably expensive because they ship it from Japan, so I'll just keep it.
