Great product
Fence blew down in high wind and these were just the ticket ...dodgy fencing company said I needed a new fence at £3000 so these saved me a lot of money !! New posts and using the old fence it was good as new .

Four x post spikes
Good value. The posts I set in were smaller than the space on top of the spike but just cut a piece of timber to form a wedge and the posts are held in solid. Very pleased with the price and quality.

Fence post spikes
Good quality post spikes but fixed holes so no adjustment for slightly oversized posts

Internal Fins and Thin Material
The pictures hide and the description carefully omits reference to the fins inside the recesses. The presence of these mean the units cannot be installed by hammering an offcut of timber or a driver plug, which makes them vastly more difficult to install than bolt-up alternatives or others without the internal fins. Additionally, because the walls are very thin, they are prone to denting or buckling if installed by hammering a piece of wood laid on top of them. Finally, once the spikes have been installed the posts have to be hammered into them from about 6-8 feet above ground level. This is difficult and dangerous and the heavy hammering required to wedge the posts inside them drives the spikes deeper into the ground to totally uncontrollable depths. This not only affects the final levels of the tops of the posts, but also drives the bases of the posts below surface level, leading to early rotting. Not at all recommended.
