Easy to use and works very well
Love these locks for being able to use your truck key. Convenient factor is awesome and helps when swapping out your trailer hitches. Appears to be well made and will last awhile.

Good lock
I wanted something better that the ones out there that break off easy with a big pipe over it to pry. at least this one will take a hell of a lot more effort. The ignition key fit and conformed just like the directions state. I am happy with is lock.

Great Lock
This is a great idea. I cannot unlock my hitch pin with my truck key which is so much easier to get to than looking for another key. The lock was very easy to set up with my truck key. I highly recommend this product. Very well made. Worth the price....

No more lost keys.
I've bought a couple of the padlocks from Bolt - so I knew what to expect. Over a couple of years of service locking my bikes to various racks, they've held up great. So, given the longevity and quality of the Bolt padlocks - I decided to replace the hitch pin for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler with the Bolt Lock. No problem setting the key - and so far it fits and works great. Now I never have to worry about keeping separate keys for a padlock and hitch lock. The only issue to be aware of is the clearance of your hitch - it clears the bumper on my factory Wrangler hitch, but the locking barrel is kind of beefy. Just something to be aware of that. It's also longer than I need, but if it ends up bothering me, I'll just put some rubber hose on it as a spacer.

I have purchased 3...

Can't say enought about quality and convience.I recently had the ocassion to call Bolt Customer Service and Tech Support. Really nice and knowlegeable. This is what great customer service is all about. Thanks Bolt.

Love this product...
This is actually the second one I've bought for two different vehicles. One for my Dodge and now one for my Toyota. This makes it incredibly convenient to ensure you have the right keys with you all the time. I've used it to secure my hitch cover, but most convenient when using it for my travel trailer hitch. It's durable and well made and I have had no issue with it towing a ~5000 lbs trailer. Setting the key is very easy to do and I haven't had any issues with my previous one in regard to the key working. I've run this through overloading environments with plenty of water, dust, and mud with no issues. The cover/cap is convenient and has stayed on with no issues, keeping the key hole clean and debris free. Note: When you receive the product, ensure you see the sticker and plastic cover is in place. Otherwise, it may have already been keyed.)Overall, the durability, reliability, and convenience has been great. I would recommend.

It works but.....
Matching it up to your key is a very simple process and it does work however the lock portion of this pin is so large that it sometimes makes it difficult to get large trailer hook chains through the holes on the trailer hitch. Simple fix was adding some high strength quick link to my hitch so that there is more space to hook up the chain. The red pin lock blocked access to the hole on the hitch. Might not be a problem for some vehicles but on my tundra it is.
