Not plastic - perfect fit on my SW22, mounts many red dots!!
I mounted this up on my SW22 and it worked flawlessly. Removed the rear sight rail and installed this. I am on my second red dot for the pistol, the first was not correct but the mounting was great. I now have a Holusun 507c X2 mounted on this (came with screws). The rail is metric, so plan accordingly. The Holusun had hardware included and it mounted up super easy. One point to note - this will pull the barrel into the slide assy that it mounts to. That means that once installed, you can disassemble your firearm but it will require removing the base to also detach the barrel, The barrel screw itself will release the bottom, there is a screw on this that will release the top. Super happy - not cheap, but I know it isn't flexing. Super happy customer here!
