Easy to read and measure great product

Good for measuring when cooking.

As usual, anything by Oxo is always a good quality product. The only thing I didn't really care for- (at least, not as much as I thought I would've), was the way they snapped together. I have arthritis, and it wasn't always easy to get them apart- or put back together again. (It wasn't a deal breaker though- I'm still using them.)

Do not buy these. They are supposedly dishwasher safe, but wash them in your dishwasher and the labels ("1/2 tsp," etc.) will first turn blurry and then gradually disappear. They are basically temporary stickers. I have a Tupperware set that is much better—the measurements are stamped into the plastic. Another thing I don't like about the Oxo set is that they often have oil residue on them even after being carefully washed. They are hard to clean. Finally, I don't like the non-slip grips, because they tend to degrade and become sticky. These are made to encourage frequent replacement. It's planned obsolescence when we need to be limiting the amount of plastic going into landfills. A set of measuring spoons and cups should last a lifetime, in my opinion. I'll probably replace my Oxo set with a stainless steel set. I have found that planned obsolescence is Oxo's MO. My Oxo strainer's handle broke off and the bristles on my Oxo scrub brushes became stained with rust leaking from inside the handle, to give two more examples. I won't be buying any more Oxo products.
