Great for slipping on and off
I bought these for easier release when entering the dog park or going off leash on trails. Clipping and unclipping their regular leashes was a pain in the butt. However, I have come to pretty much rely on them for their walks, trips to the groomer and the vet because of the ease of use.Not indestructible though. One of my dogs likes to carry his own leash sometimes....didn't take much for him to bite through and fray some threads...so I'll have to watch that.

Smooth Slip Loop Leash
We love it mostly because of the color, length, width, and quality of reflectiveness. Many of the reviews said that it is very slippery and we blew it off because who cares. Well they were right and it could be a problem for some. Be sure to use the little leather "stopper/adjuster" to secure the loop around the dog's neck. We use our other loop lead (different brand) willy nilly because it doesn't slip around or loosen around the dog's neck while we walk. This slippery smooth lead comes loose on walks if you do not adjust the leather stopper. It is slippery in our hands too, but we just hold it tight no biggie.

Best Slip Lead I've Used
This is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. I use slip leads for work and all of ours were really crappy so I bought my own. I've used it daily for about a month on all sizes of dogs and it's wonderful. It's a decently soft material, very thick, and the leather piece that keeps the head in place does not budge. I am so happy with this product.

Exactly what I needed!
My 120-pound dog is a PULLER. As long as he's been in our family, he has pulled whenever we take him on a leash. I put this slip lead leash on him, and he IMMEDIATELY stopped pulling, and let me gently lead him. I am confident I'll have more fun taking him for walks in public now.

Good quality, but impossible to grip
I like the quality of the leash, but it's nearly impossible to short the leash the dog has. We're working on training right now, so the goal is to let leash out week by week, but the rope is too slippery. If there were some way to get more traction, I would give it 5 stars, but it's impractical for training if you're dealing with a large dog that pulls.

Great slip training lead!
I really like this lead for my puppy. I can provide gentle corrections without pulling on his collar. It’s great for training enough length without it being too short or long. I do have a baby shark so this is immediately put away after use. The puppy explored it at first by mouthing it, but the novelty has worn off. I have a few leads and this is my favorite for walks and training.

Sturdy, well made, but slippery leash
The leash is sturdy and well made, but it slips through my hands very easily, especially if I am wearing any gloves, which makes it very hard to use it properly. It also keeps slipping on my dog's neck to below the area where it should be used (high up, under her ears) so it is not as effective as I had hoped it would be, and it also worries me that it may be harmful to her if it is not in the right place.

Starting to fray after one week!
Very weird construction or material (both?) the leash constantly has a stubborn coil in it and it is annoying to walk a dog with it, constantly having to turn the leash a certain way to get the twist in the material to go away. At the handle the material is fraying already, it is small but this is after only one week. Not the highest quality and annoying to use.
