It did not clear the pipes of scaling water, ...
It did not clear the pipes of scaling water, perhaps it was because I waited too long. However, this item might do well as a maintenance regimen.

Didn't really notice much difference after running it our dishwasher, in a hard water area.

It worked great!!! The product instructions were very easy to understand and simple to follow. I would by more HG products.
