I've used modelones brand and this one and I must say, this one is superior. Not super sticky or hard to work with. My favorite so far.

If you're a beginner this will work perfect for you! I have struggled with applying acrylic to a smooth level and with polygel it's a complete game changer. love it, I would also recommend using 90% alcohol instead of the slip solution the slip solution makes the gel sticky, and the alcohol is so much easier to work with.

I am fairly new to poly gel but I have done it successfully before with a different brand of poly gel and was really good at It. In the beginning this products seemed easy to use as the application of it way easy. It wasn’t so sticky like other polygels which was nice. I was able to spread it on the form nicely. However, when it came to filing and shaping that’s when problems emerged. Immediately straight out of the lamp it was very sheer and seemed like it needed to be cured longer. I’m used to poly gel maybe being slightly sheer but the was abnormally sheer. I had to put a thicker layer of poly gel which would lead to bigger issues. After curing it various times (over 120s) I began to file. When filing the surface I quickly realized even after curing it for so long the poly gel just below the surface still wasn’t cured. It would burst from the nail while filing. It was truly a hot mess. I didn’t make the nail too thick when I had to reapply so I dont think it was due to that. Honestly with my other poly gel I could have added more and been fine. It just simply doesn’t cure properly. In the end I ended up having to paint the nail because it was so sheer and curing it way more than recommended just to be able to file it. Also for those wondering as I was also curious when buying. This product comes only with the tubes. Not top or base coat and no forms.

I really like the color set that included black, white, dark pink, rose red, shallow brown, and flash silver. What I have pictured is dark pink which is basically mauve, paired with shallow brown which is like a golden glitter gel.Consistency was good it didn't seem too sticky.The only issue I had was curing it. Normally thirty seconds under my lamp would cure all the way through but with this gel for some reason it still felt sticky close to the nail. The first time I used them, three of my nails popped right off and the gel that was touching the nail was still wet. Two of them I was able to glue on so that I didn't waste them but the other ones wouldn't stick even with nail glue.So when I redid them I made sure that I cured them for longer and I used dual forms so after I cured I took the dual forms off and cured for a second round and then flipped them and cured underneath as well just to make sure that the middle section was completely dried.

This brand doesn’t seem to sit well. The colors are weak , especially the red. I did my nails and the next day my thumb nail was peeling. I removed it and it was still gooey on the inside so I thought I must not have had it under the lamp long enough. But then my pinky nail started lifting as well. No goo just came off! I have another brand that I use frequently but I really liked this color set for Valentine’s so I purchased it. Going to get some more colors from the brand I normally use.

I’m reviewing the glitter one . It is very easy to work with . I used this brand and modelones for this set and I like both. The glitter is superb, easy to mold (I didn’t use a mold , I used directly on her nail) and cures pretty well ! The other color is apricot by modelones which I like as well .

So far I have only used one color from the pack. A bit lighter than what was hoping but I think that’s just how polygel works. This polygel self levels way better than another brand I previously purchased making it easier to mold to my nail. Definitely recommend just note this is not a starter pack.

I do not like to leave negative feedback. However, as a consumer, I rely on others to tell me about their experiences with a product.This product is thin and sticky. I have used other poly gels with a slip solution to achieve a desirable consistency. But this product starts out so thin that it squished out the sides and back of the nail form. It’s impossible to use a clip to hold the form in place because the pressure is such that it leave little product in the actual form.And to make the situation ever worse, it’s sticky! I tried to use my brush with slip solution to clean up the edges. But all it did was smear it. It was like trying to clean up honey… with a paint brush!The product photos are miss leading. I’m not sure how thick or how many layers of poly gel they have in the pictures but my results were not the same shade and definitely not the same translucency!And after all this… It took my 3 times as long to do my nails.Oh - and with the first use, it busted through the sides of the tube!

Habe bereits einige Polygele ausprobiert und muss sagen,diese lassen sich sehr gut verarbeiten auch für Anfänger,sind relativ fest in ihrer Konsistenz und laufen nicht gleich in die Ränder.Ich komme damit super zurecht

The pigments are really weak, including the black, you'll either need to do loads of layers or actually still do a colour coat if you're wanting it to be as bold as the pictures and not jelly/partly see through. Formula wise however it does cure properly and seems to be holding strong so not a waste.

Ricevuto nei tempi previsti, la confezione era integra. È un buon polygel, più denso rispetto a quelli a cui sono abituata ma comunque si stende bene e la cosa non crea alcun problema. La tenuta al momento è abbastanza buona. L’unica pecca è il fatto che, almeno per quanto riguarda il gel rosso, il colore è più chiaro rispetto a quanto mostrato in foto. Non ho ancora provato gli altri colori quindi non mi posso esprimere su quelli per il momento. Escluso questo fattore, il prodotto è valido.
