A great idea but executed badly. This is the second of these mops I have purchased and both have broken at the exact same weak point of the swivel joint. I won’t be buying again . I can’t add a photo as the form won’t let it upload.

Broke after 3 uses, very disappointing

So I wanted this for my kitchen, something that's fast and easy to use.The item arrived and it looked good, sturdy and a nice colourUpon investigating it further before I was going to use it, I noticed a key mechanism is faulty, see picture attached.I am unable to put the pieces together to use it, hence the one star review.

This mop looked exactly what we needed. It's a double sided mop (with two textures for cleaning your floor) and a spray bottle activated by a lever on the handle.The problem, like many other reviewers have said, is that the mop does not stay together. This is because where the top and bottom ends join there is a blue nodule that is supposed to click through a hole and keep it together. However, for whatever reason, that blue nodule does not come through the hole fully, meaning the mop freely spins around and comes apart. With nothing else to keep it in place, you end up having to reattach the two ends every 30 seconds or so (basically any time you lift the top head from the floor or take a sharp angle). You can use strong tape to bind it together, but you shouldn't have to do this with a product you have purchased from new.When the mop is together or taped up, it's actually a pleasure to use. The head swivels nicely. You can easily change between the two textures and the spray lever makes it easy to scrub any marks you come across on the floor. The spray bottle is also very easy to fill with water and floor cleaner and empty as well. The brush cloths are washable and look as good as new after a wash.Overall, it's a shame to have to give this such a poor review. The idea of the mop is excellent, but I am very disappointed that somewhere along the design or quality checking process the problem with the blue nodule wasn't picked up. Unless you are willing to bind the mop together with tape I would personally look elsewhere.

I was so excited about using this product and I immediately did as soon as it arrived. It was cleaned but the floor did not shine but that was ok. The next day I see that the entire bottle of fluid had leaked. I put some water in it and that leaked again. Now I cant use this product.

This basic mop is easy to put together, but the little raised plastic ‘blob’ on the joining area of the handles is useless, it will not pop out to hold the handles in place even when my husband (who is quite strong) held the handles in position. As soon as you turn the mop, the upper part of the handle just swivels round and this is most irritating. I have had to resort to duct tape, which is hardly ideal on a new mop. The cloths are easy to put on and just Velcro together. They flip over reasonably well. The water bottle needs a very firm pull to remove. The ‘scratchy’ side is not very abrasive at all, so it’s OK for vinyl, laminate and most other hard floors, just make sure you don't use too much water as that can damage wood or loosen tiles. The water spray just beneath the handle is not very comfortable to operate, it’s a bit short, but will probably seem easier with a bit more use. The spray is rather uneven. I find the fluffy side ideal for chasing and catching dust bunnies around our long hall in between giving that floor a good clean with my steam mop; the other side (used wet) is Ok for the ceramic tiles in the utility room but not as good as a steam mop, of course. It is disappointing that there is only one of each of the covers, so the mop can’t be used while they are being washed and dried. The base of the mop has a generous area, about 20 inches wide by about 5 inches deep, giving a good-sized cleaning surface. This mop is cheap to use (no electricity) and very lightweight and handy to give floors a quick and easy daily freshen. The design is a good idea, but I am not sure how durable it will be over time as it does not seem very well made.

Am using this solely for cleaning/polishing our new wood flooring area and whilst it does a good job and cleans a large area with it's good sized head it has issues.Firstly popping it together was irritable because the little blue nodule kept not springing out once the handle parts had been slid together. Eventually out of frustration my husband slammed the pole down on it's base and that actually did the trick and now it is very stable however to make sure it doesn't come apart my husband has also wrapped the joint with extra strong tape. You only get one of each microfibre cover and they velco together over the base of the mop so you cannot use the mop if you only need to wash one of them as there is no way to keep the other in place without it's partner. Removing the bottle is also very awkaward to start with but does get easier with use.The mop does a good job of cleaning our wooden floor and the fact I can put another company's product in the mop's bottle makes this a lot cheaper than buying a bespoke set, however the issues far outweigh the benefits and this is not something I will replace if it breaks.
