Very difficult to assemble
The wooden 'pegs' do not all fit into the holes made for them. My husband, who is very good at DIY, has given up on trying to assemble the stool for the time being.

Unable to construct due to poor manufacturing
The first stage of construction requires dowels to be inserted into holes in all the cross strut pieces, half of these holes were too small. One of the dowels was half the size of all the others and therefore fitted into one of the too small holes but all the rest were left without dowels. We tried to fit one of the screws only to find it would only go in part way - the hole created to take the screw was too shallow, measuring all the components there was a 3cm discrepancy. The screw holes were different sizes too so several of them wouldn’t fit. Gave up and returned.

Nice & solid
The kit of parts was well documented & went together fairly easily. Does take some time, but the result is worth it. I stained the top & painter the rest, which made them look quite expensive.

This is not good
This product has got to be the worst purchase of my life and I have bought A Lot of bad thing! Nearly impossible to assemble! What a waist of money

Instruction as clear as mud
They could take lessons from Ikea on writing clear assembly instructions. The primary problem was that the pieces were not numbered/labelled. This would not have been such a problem except that the difference between left and right pieces were almost impossible to identify.I ended up having to take it apart and reassemble and still don't think it is right. Which of course diminishes the stability of the product. I ended up throwing up my hands and saying 'good enough for govement work.'The reason I bought this one was that it was the only wooden of the right height and that is comfortable for the short woman.
