Comparing this product to others (This is the only derma roller I have purchased) I guess it's equivalent in what it's supposed to do. I read where a competitor product had very detailed instructions. I wouldn't call the instructions for this product very detailed.

Looks like it’s doing exactly what it suppose to. When the rollers arrived, the first thing I did is soak them both in alcohol for approximately 7 to 8 minutes. Let them dry and then use the rollers as instructed on my clean skin. Yes, they puncture the skin and yes they cause bleeding, but very insignificantly, which is exactly what they’re supposed to do. Two days later, my face is red and blotchy, but I can already feel a tightening. I will update this for you in a couple weeks. So far, I’m very pleased with this purchase.

This works well on the face, but I bought them for the scalp and it pulls out hair. Just fyi!
