Easy to apply and does what it says on the tin.

Good coverage, absorbed by the wood so can't peel like most decking paint and produces a non-slip finish just like it says on the tin. I would have given it five stars but was limited to only one colour which unfortunately came out as Trump orange, a disturbing look for the decking.

I need 4 more tins but the price has doubled since I bought 4 tins 2 months ago so will have to wait.

I'd say, from the purpose of providing grip, this product certainly achieves that. The aggregate does not rub off once dried, and I'd say is very difficult to remove, if you ever tried.I applied the clear version of this over a plain decking paint that I'd previously applied. You can see the board on the right of one of my photos that is not treated with this product, and the aggregate showing on the treated parts.I applied just one coat, using a 4" roller, painfully, board by board, keeping it as thin as possible, well stirred for several minutes at the start. It does get sticky very quickly, so any overlapping of painting shows up with additional aggregate, not easy to avoid.The finish leaves a rough aggregate, great to avoid slipping. However, the finish looks like my decking has been scattered with sand. Perhaps, this is not visible if you use one of the coloured stains in this anti-slip range.I wish I'd had a breathing mask, as this product really does stink!I would say two coats are not necessary. I only used one out of the two tins I bought, wasting £20. Anyone want one?!

Ordered two tins of clear (2.5l), have used this product before and it knocks spots off any Ronseal product for coverage and longevity (highly recommended).I don't usually write reviews but wanted to in this instance, to thank PaintPeople for exemplary customer service (specifically Alison in CS dept) - after the courier (FedEx!) lost one of the two tins (sent in two separate parcels) just one call to Alison and she despatched a replacement immediately (which was received promptly, via next day delivery). Fantastic customer service, won't hesitate to order from PaintPeople again.

As previously said coverage is definitely less than it says but truly non slip. Mine has now had its first winter and reason its 3 stars is alot has peeled/come off. Decking had never been done before so completely porous and conditions perfect. Need to order more to redo. But looks great and does job when completed. Bought more now new stuff is coming off, I'm so disappointed

This product was bought to retreat decking that had become slippy when wet. After thoroughly cleaning the decking and allowing 2 days to dry out I applied the anti slip deck coat and I have not been disappointed. The decking has been transformed and the fine sand/grit in the coating ensures the anti slip description is for real. A good purchase and delivered well ahead of the deadline quoted.

I bought 2 x 2.5 litre tins and one provided one coat on 3 x 3 decking. I will use the other tin for a second coat. I now need to buy more to finish the rest of the decking, but the price has doubled since lockdown so I will look elsewhere. Very disappointed.
