Great splitter if installed right / used in the right application.
I picked one of these up to split signal through my house for a structured wiring and cord cutting project. Even with all ports in use, there is no perceptible loss in signal anywhere in the house. Well worth the time, expense, and effort to install.My structured wiring is done on a rack and mount board, not in an enclosure. I picked this unit though with the idea that I would eventually move this to an enclosure if / when I move. This is the same unit a colleague of mine is using in his home and Leviton enclosure.The multi mount options are great. allowing the installer to orient this the best way possible.I am using a Polaroid AMA-1850 antenna on a repurposed DirecTV satelite dish mount, and a 10' EMT conduit mast. The antenna itself is amplified, and then runs into the splitter.IF you use this, or any splitter with ports that will be unused, be certain you use coax terminators on your outlets.

That mine worked well and was a great and better way to connect multiple units.
I used this 8 way connector for Multiple Room connections within two apartment units 4 to each.Living room, Dining room and 2 Bed rooms to each. Mounted inside an outdoor Utility Box with 2 antenna IN and combined into a single feed.Note: making sure each antenna cable are both the same lengths into the single splice IN.I like how the 8 way connectors configuration made it easier and better for connecting the out bound cables.

I used this to connect all of the TV connections in the house to a newly installed antenna for over the air HD. The image is amazing!! I had no idea that there are like 40 channels availible!! I think that I'll be cutting the satillite out now since a lot of shows can be watched online anyway if you miss them.I couldn't beat the price! However, it did take a little longer to get though but that may be because I'm used to Prime. :)

Good price but significant loss of signal using antenna
Good price but significant loss of signal using antenna. However, this is somewhat expected splitting a signal that is not amplified into 8. There are amplified spliters that I imagine would alleviate this issue.
