I just got the device so this is by no means a long-term review, however first impressions are very good.I wanted a unit with a pull-out drawer rather than a lift-off top, a smarter design in my opinion that should be easier to empty and make less mess. Setup was very easy. I didn't bother inserting the wheels to have it rolling around on my hardwood floor, just stuck on a set of felt pads instead. It would be nice if it came with a set of rubber feet as an alternative.The shredder couldn't be simpler to operate, and works as expected. It makes some noise, but generally operates more quietly than my old one (a different brand), and isn't overly bothersome. For the other reviewers complaining that it only shreds 9 or 10 sheets (maximum) at a time, not the advertised 12 sheets, you have to pay attention to paper weight. It is specified to do 12 sheets at 70 gsm, but most typical North American copy paper is in the 75-90 gsm range. With this in mind, it performs as advertised.Appearance-wise, the shredder has clean lines and fits nicely into a home office environment. In terms of value, it's possible to find cheaper units with similar capacity, but this one will be worth the price if it lasts. I'm happy so far.

This is the best shredder I have ever had and brought for a great price of £95.99 at the time of purchase. You can shred multiple sheets at once making the job quicker if you have a lot to do. If the shredder jams it automatically reverses realising the paper, unlike other previous models I have owned. It is easy to empty and doesn't feel up quite so quick as other cheaper models.

I bought this for a charity small office and then liked it so much that I bought another one for myself, to replace an old Dahle 20082.Now I have not had it long so I cannot comment on its long term reliability but it seems solid and robust enough. Certainly the head is heavy enough!It may be than many home/office machines have the features that I particularly liked in this machine and that I am impressed just because I moved up from a cheap personal shredder nevertheless these are the things I have noticed and which I like about it:* It is on castors so I can keep it tucked away beside my desk and then easily wheel it out when needed.* The bin is large and easily emptied by pulling out the drawer so no more lifting a heavy machine head off to empty the bin* When the bin is full a sensor operates a light to tell you and stops operating the machine so no more paper jamming up the cutting head as on my old machine* If you try to feed too much in a sensor operates a light to tell you and stops the machine from feeding* It is quiet (relatively) for a shredder* I have not been able to test this but it says that it has a sensor which shuts the machine down if the motor starts to overheat and will not let you operate it until it cools down to a safe operating temperature. It is rated at 10 continuous mins on and the 20 mins off, which is quite good I believe for this class of machine. Hopefully then I will not be burning out the motor on this one as I have done on a previous shredder.

This thing works great, and has tons of capacity. Plus, the front window lets you know when it's getting full. The finger-sensing safety features work really well, and the powerful motor makes shredding almost fun. It's pricy, but worth every single penny. Everything about this shredder is just so smooth and easy. Im 100% happy I went with this one instead of a cheaper brand or model.
