I thought this was a great movie. but i can't help but think of the line from Tropical Thunder. Never go full retard. :)

This movie is great. Unexpected triller.

Good

Every time I see this film it is a guilty pleasure. It's fun, good action, no silly impossible ninja fighting stuff. Just a dumb premise, moving a guy's brain to another guy. It can be done because Costner's character has an empty frontal lobe. This was caused be a brain injury from a violent impact as a child. Yeah, it's nonsense, but you get past it quickly, there's very little deep message to be concerned with, just an old-fashioned action movie with lots of action, humor and some pretty brutal action, no silly spinning around in the air six times when you get punched, none of that foolishness. Gal Gadot & Ryan Reynolds are in it, before they were big-time!!

TLJ and Kevin are enough to make it a good movie. Good plot line. Good ending. Highly recommend.

This movie was recommended based on a lot of my husband's choices, but I hadn't seen it before so stayed to watch. Kevin Costner as a truly out-of-control sociopath was not only surprising, but he did a masterful job with the part. Yeah, there was a lot of gratuitous violence. But his character arc was a pleasure to see. My only question: Why does Amazon Prime put Tommy Lee Jones' face on the cover shot of the film, when Costner is the protagonist in nearly every scene and even as a blood-soaked ex-prisoner is more interesting to look at? I bet lots of people might skip it not even realizing KC is in it. Odd choice, Prime!

Quand Kévin Costner revient sur le devant de la scène, ça dépote. Il sort de ses rôles habituels pour nous offrir une très bonne prestation. Je recommande vivement.

Ryan Renolds is a Cia agent who gets killed with a lot a serious info that can change the coarse of the world .So Tommy Lee Jones is brought in being a special type of brain surgeon, to transfare the info from Ryon Renolds brain to the Guinea pig ie Kevin Costner who is a ruthless criminal who dos'nt no right from wrong or love or compassion .Gary Oldman is the Cia boss who thinks it's madness to do this but has no alternative.They transfare the info to Kevin Costner who starts 2 get bits coming into his mind gradually but dos'nt tell Garry Oldman anything ,He escapes custody n gets all the info eventually that Bill Pope had ie Ryon Renolds.Ryon Renolds wife ie wonder woman dos'nt no anything about this either .Then there's always a 3rd party who is the bady who also wants the info to.This makes for a really great thriller as kevin Costner battles to save the wife n child of Bill Pope and get the info and the money and try n save him self But does he save the day ?????superb performances from all the actors in this film Criminal a must watch movie.👍

Hallo zusammen. Wie schon beschrieben in der Überschrift bietet Das Jerico Projekt viel Spannung und außreichend Action mit top Hollywoodstars in Haupt und Nebenrollen. Kevin Costner, Gal Gadot, Tommy Lee Jones, Gary Oldman, Ryan Reynolds etc.Alles handelt zu begin des Filmes um Bill Pope (Ryan Reynolds) der sichtlich von jemandem gejagt wird und er nach einem letzten Gespräch mit seiner Frau in eine Verfolgungsjagd verwickelt wird und die Verfolger ihm nach dem Leben trachten. Anscheinend hat Bill mit einem Untergrund Spezialist "Dutchman" einen Deal ausgehandelt und es geht hier um Codes für eine Waffe. Nachdem die Verfolger Bill überrumpelt haben und ihn dabei auch töten, bleiben sie weiterhin erfolglos auf der Suche nach Dutchman und den Codes für die Waffe. Als bald wird durch eine Organisation der Inhaftierte Jerico (Kevin Costner) aus seiner Zelle geholt, da er zum einen in seinem Leben nichts mehr zu verlieren hat als Gefangener und sie mit seiner Veranlagung ein Experiment durchführen möchten. Das Ziel: An die Erinnerungen von Bill Pope zu kommen, um somit auch an Dutchman zu kommen, und eine mögliche große Gefahr abzuwenden. Somit wird Jericho (Kevin Costner) quasi mittels einer gefährlichen und komplizierten Operation am Gehirn die Erinnerungen von Bill (Ryan Reynolds) eingepflanzt.Der Film bietet so vieles und ist enorm vielschichtig. Das reicht nicht nur von der bereits mehrfach erwähnten Spannung die immer mehr zunimmt und auch nie wirklich nachlässt, sondern auch in der Darstellung der Figur des Jerico, welcher von Kevin Costner hervorragend dargestellt wird. Zum einen gibt Kevin Costner den Bad Ass Hau Drauf Typen, welcher immer einen lockeren coolen Spruch auf Lager hat. Zum anderen wirkt er auch zugleich sehr Verletzlich und das nimmt immer mehr zu, als er fortwährend in dem Film in die Gedanken und Erinnerungen von Bill Pope eintaucht. Zumal er innerhalb des Filmes auch desöfteren auf dessen Familie trifft und er somit selbst auch eine Art Gefühle für diese Entwickelt. Dieser Film wenn er auch nicht so viel Action bietet wie manch andere Filme dieser Art, so überzeugt er auf ganzer Linie und wird nie langweilig trotz der 1 Stunde und 52 Minuten Laufzeit! Was mir ebenfalls gut gefällt ist die Art der Kameraführung und Inszenierung der Stadt London oder der Action-Szenen. Der Kameramann hat echt gute Leistung gebracht und dieser Film ist es auf jeden Fall Wert das man ihm 5 Sterne gibt. Ich gebe zu, das es in diesem Genre tatsächlich bessere Vertreter gibt, allerdings fasziniert mich dieser Film anhand seiner Geschichte welche sich über den ganzen Film hinweg Verteilt. Das Bild ist schön Klar und niemals Körnig. Die Farben satt und Detailreich. Wer allerdings eine Heimkino Anlage sein eigen nennt, sollte vllt. wenn er nicht so auf WUMMS steht beachten den Dynamibereich anzupassen. Das Jerico Projekt spielt lediglich mit den Tonunterschieden und hebt oft den Ton an und senkt ihn wieder. Und dieß bei diesem Film nichts zu wenig und in einem hohen Maße. Wem das gefällt so wie mir, kann also beruhigt seine Einstellungen so lassen wie sie sind.Ein Top Film, den ich sehr genossen habe.
