I bought these for use with lechuza pon. The water meter is really easy to use, although it does sometimes get stuck. For the price, these are a excellent option for semi-hydro self watering planters.

I wanted to put some plants in pon. These work great. I love the water gage.I do wish the lip on the inner pot was easier to grasp when it’s full. When using pon you need to flush often or do a root check. The pon makes the inner pot it heavy. Cumbersome to get it out.Other than that. Love these pots. Affordable, nice looking and functional.

This is the best lechuza dupe I’ve found that’s within a reasonable price range. Overall great value for what you get. So far they’re easy to use, nice to look at, and perfectly functional. The water indicator is perfect, the wick system works, the plants are happy.My only complaint is that the reservoir is too small. I end up needing to water every 5 or so days, which isn’t horrible, but the biggest draw to this kind of product for me is watering less often. It’s great that this takes the guesswork out, but if they just offered different sizes or tweaked this model it would be perfect.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love the self watering planters. Having the water gauge is a game changer because you always know how little or how much water they need and they will never get root rot by sitting in a soggy bottom. These planters are very substantial. They are not thin, flimsy plastic like most on the market. They are very easy to put together and hold up well. This is the fourth set of these that I’ve purchased you can’t go wrong.

These are perfect! Would buy again because they had a great size to them and worked out well when I repotted my plants. It has a great bottom watering system my plants love.

I recently switched almost 100 plants over to self watering planters, and tried a bunch of varieties in the process. This planter set was my favorite for smaller plants (up to 1-2 feet tall), though it was too small for medium and larger plants (especially plants that grow wide).Used Pon as a base layer, and added soil on top of that. Plants love them, and has been easy to fill (just remove the indicator and fill through the hole for about 4-5 seconds). Only need to water about once every 1-3 weeks depending on the plant.

I like these a lot, that is why I keep ordering!I do hydroponics, and these work great.. worth the purchase!

I had high hopes for this set of self watering planters. The design is simple and sleek.Pros:Simple designSelf watering pot allows you to water plants less frequentlyCons:The pot doesn’t have a place to pour water into the reservoir so you have to (a) take the two pieces apart and pour water into the base (b) pour the water into the soil and wait for it to seep through the soil to know how much more water you need (c) remove the water gauge to pour the water into that holeThe water reservoir doesn’t hold much water and it has a very difficult to get the water level to the right place. I find that I usually go from “empty” to needing to pour water back out because it is well above the max line far too much.
