Speeding up the process
I have taken proactive steps to address the persistent issue of fruit flies entering the house and flying around the bin. Currently, our council does not collect food waste and the cost of compost has increased. Consequently, I have begun making my own compost and have used this accelerator to expedite the process. The product is straightforward to use; simply sprinkle it over a layer of waste and I mix the bin every few days. It was a great value for money and comes in a plastic, resealable and sealable tub.

200g per 30cm layer
200g treatment per 30cm layer of compost. So the 250g pack is a bit pointless. If you are hoping to use on a full heap will need over a kilo.

I was expecting a larger bag but have added it to my compost bin as per instructions. Time will tell.
