Great chemistry between main characters.
In this segment of Serving His Master Claire Thompson does a great job of giving us insight into the characters and what they are all about. Jace, a young man who has been hurt and disappointed in love. He has lost his job and when he receives a chance to become a service sub in an exclusive community. He will have the weekend to receive a tour and introduction to the community and make his decision to accept the offer or decline. Upon arriving on the island he notices a trainer, Quinn, and feels an attraction. After the tour he decides to sign the three month contract and returns to settle his obligations before returning to the island. His attraction to Quinn hasn't lessened and then he finds out about Quinn' s relationship with another trainer, Drew. As time passes we have introductions to other characters and when trouble begins for Have he could end up being thrown off the island or deciding that what is happening to him may not be worth staying and enduring. Great book and I'm looking forward to book two of this series.

A BDSM m/m romance in paradise
Jace loses his job and is betrayed by his partner all in the same day. He goes to a BDSM club to distract himself and is chosen by a Dom giving a flogging demonstration. A recruiter for a very elite gay sex resort offers him a lucrative job as a professional submissive. After a weekend visit to the island resort he signs a contract and begins his job as a sexual slave to the wealthy clients. The whole setup is tastefully written with a lot of sex kink, friendship, dangerous jealously, and love. It is a great story and I am sure with the exception of the bad guy, you will love the characters and the resort.

Predictable but fun
After discovering his boyfriend in bed with another man and then finding out his employer has gone bankrupt, Jace needs to get out of his head, and for him there’s no better place to do that than the local BDSM club. While watching a public scene, he is befriended by an older man who encourages him to take a turn on the stage to be flogged by the Dominant. Although not into public scenes, something about the man, Carlo, inspires confidence, and when the Dom picks Jace out of the crowd, he agrees. After the scene, Carlo approaches Jace in the recovery room, praising the young man’s submission and suggesting that there might be a place for him at the exclusive club that Carlo helps to manage on a private island in the Florida Keys. Jace would be a full time ‘service sub” charged with doing whatever the high-rolling guests want, within his hard limits, and he would be paid quite handsomely. After spending a few days at the club, and despite some misgivings, Jace agrees. Before he can be put with guests, Jace must first be trained by one of the staff trainers, who will teach him how to please the clients as well as hone his own submissive skills. Unfortunately, his trainer is the beautiful yet sadistic Drew, a man for whom Jace can do nothing right. He would much rather be trained by Quinn, a man whose calm domination and rope skills push all of Jace’s buttons. Things only get worse when Drew, who wants Quinn for himself, sets out to make sure Jace is sent packing.Once you get past the implausible setup, “The Contract” is a rather juicy story. There’s lots of kink, of course, romance and intrigue, all tied together very neatly. Once the story gets going, it becomes a real page-turner, and that’s in spite of a plot that, it must be said, is rather predictable. The characters and pacing carry things along at a steady rate so that you can’t help to see how things turn out. It’s always a pleasure to read something that takes a well-known theme and still pulls it off well.

MM/BDSM
Ms Thompson eloquently uses the art of dominance and submission throughout the entire book to engage her readers.Your constantly reminded throughout the entire story of the importance of the building blocks of a good D/s relationship in Ms Thompson’s words. Her knowledge of the lifestyle is spot on when it comes to aspects of negotiation, trust, and safety. Her characters in the story are plagued with ups and downs, which draws you in as a reader.I’d highly recommend this book to readers.

A full body experience.
When two persons meets and find the spark the world around then can respond in two opposing manners. With hatred and jealousy or with affection and happiness. Where does jealousy turn into bullying and when is it enough?Dear Claire. This is one of the most well written books I’ve read. It has a really good flow and the setting and the characters are as usual on top! Well worth purchase in the M/M - D/s section!

Great bdsm book
I loved this book. It was different then other bdsm books I have read but in a good way. I love the fact that it didn't give me elongated drama that could have taken away from a great story. I just wished I knew what happened to Drew.
