Debt of Honour (Border Knight Book 11)

Just like the first 10 it was hard to put this one down. Although sometimes it was easy to guess what would be next, it still made a great read.

This being book 11 of the 12 book series brings with it sadness for all who love Griff’s tales.Griff writes with such passion and in-depth knowledge you always feel like you are in the story with the players. He easily brings you into his world.I have never been disappointed in any of Mr. Hosker’s stories and this book won’t disappoint any who read it.Come along and ride with the men of Stockton.

Love Griff hosker but this isn't the first series he seems to have trouble remembering key injuries or deaths with supporting characters. Sir ralph the sheriff of York supposedly died in France two books ago but here he is in this one still alive.

Had to binge read it...Got everything in this one! Extra deception and power grabs. More deaths of people you will remember from previous books than usual. One big passing - sad but not unexpected. Some sophisticated battle strategies in this one as well.I enjoyed it greatly.

Another excellent addition to Hosker’s works. This entire series is outstanding and while fiction lays a great background to the history.

Just another great story of the northernEnglish knights that made England what it is. Read the series to get the whole story.

Another great book by one of my favorite authors. All though I have loved all the different series the Border Knight has become my favorite. Griff, keep the family alive a while longer. Can't wait for the next one. Thanks again.

As always, another brilliant story from Hosker. I hope he continues this story as I've been reading since the first Warlord book.

I have read many stories of this period and my mind is made up --- this series of novels are just BRILLIANT. I have read all 11 books consecutively and eagerly await the 12th with great excitement and expectations.I have read the full volumes of the LAST KINGDOM by Bernard Cornwell. The Anarchy by Mr Hosker and now the Boarder Knight series.If the GAME OF THRONES warranted a television series, including the wizardry, sexuality and dragons - then Mr Hosker's Boarder Knights deserve MUCH, MUCH more and will be riveting, and will not need the side effects to keep the audience entertained and spell-bound.

I’ve just devoured the eleven books of this series over a couple of weeks. I was late to the party, having not read the Anarchy series, but immediately fell in love with the evocative tales surrounding the Warlord and his descendants. The writing is good, though the author’s occasionally staccato style took a little getting used to, and the stories are gripping. More importantly, the character development is good and, though many of the battles are fictional, the descriptions of medieval warfare put you right there in the mud and the blood.Can’t wait for the next one!

As good as if not more intense and page turning as the previous 10 books, I feel the need to read them again and yet I desire number 12. Great books

I liked knowing the locations mentioned and the non stop fighting and intrigue.Typical Griff Hosker, exciting from start to finish.

Another beautiful, action packed tale... the baton passes from one descendant of the Warlord to another, and they remain as ever, protectors of kings and heroes of the realm.Action packed with a moving end- well done Mr Hosker! 👏🏾
