QEPXL All-purpose sponge - 2 Pack

Okay, this sponge FLOATS; great if it goes overboard! The sponge can be totally saturated with water and it still floats! It doesn’t absorb water until you squeeze it; it didn’t come with instructions, but I figured it out. I didn’t measure how much water it holds; maybe a quart. It absorbs fast, and it is a quick and easy squeeze, to dump the water. The sponge material is about the best you can get. If you need a boat sponge, this is it! I bought 2.

These sponges worked great for my bathroom project. I used them for a tile refurbishment to apply fresh grout and then a tile/grout sealer. They clean up nicely and wring out easily for these types of projects where you need a DAMP sponge. They seem pretty durable as sponges go and aren't losing material/chunks when working in the bucket of water constantly.

Like most synthetic sponges, these are tough but lack absorbency. They are better than most rags, but can't hold a candle to natural sponge material. We had purchased these sponges to keep in our kayaks to pick up the dripping you tend to accumulate from paddle runoff. They do the job, barely.

Worked great for my little bathroom project - I used these to clean up after re-grouting backsplash and tile. Firm, large sponge that is perfect for the job.

Received these sponges relatively quickly and looked to be of average sponginess, but once I used these sponges to sponge......wow. They were the spongiest sponges that ever sponged. I sponged everything I needed to sponge around my property and boy oh boy did they do the sponging. I even used one sponge to sponge the other sponge. 5 out of 5 sponges....i mean stars... would sponge with these sponges again!

I purchased these sponges for the same price that I found similar ones at Home Depot. I use them for ceramics practice. I wish they were a bit more absorbent and their absorbency did not increase with time/use. I also noticed the sponges are different texture and absorbency from each other. One sponge is very soft and absorbent. The other sponge is rough and much less absorbent. I can't even use the rough sponge. So I basically got one sponge for the price of two.

Worked exactly like supposed to! Small project backsplash and still have one left over for another project!
