Great product.. installed easily works great

First off the negative, no directions besides the one photo on product page is included.The positive, extremely sturdy. Pretty easy to install with 2 tools, a 10mm socket and an Allen wrench. With these tools, installation is easy. Once installed mounting is solid and keeps the phone out of the limited windshield view. If you want to plug in your phone you will need a bit longer cable as a 3 foot cable works but the cable will run against your steering wheel.

I wanted a mount for the A-pillar to not further clutter up the dash and small windshield of my JL Wrangler.This fits nicely in the a-pillar grab handle (top or bottom mount) but it's not too functional in vertical (portrait) position. In horizontal (landscape) position, you can get it just the way you want, but I needed a vertical solution and this keeps me pretty stuck in one spot.It's usable, but not great.As for the construction, it seems to be pretty good quality. Came unassembled with no instructions, but after some puzzle piecing I figured it out.Also dinged a star because the holder itself is very shallow, so if you have a thick case on your phone it feels like it could pop out. I don't use a case on my iPhone 12 and it seems to be held in pretty good. BUT If I had a case, I'd be worried.This could be five stars if it had better articulation and felt more secure for phones with cases.

Amazing product sturdy and easy to install and good price but there is one tiny problem i wish the arms ends were able to swivel independently that would be perfect if they changed that.

Seems sturdy, and the rubber guards will keep the metal from scratching phone case. I couldn't get a good angle from the bottom so mounted to top of the handle, sits pretty flush to the A-frame. Some of the screws don't want to stay tight so i might put a little clear nail polish on to lock them in at the right spot.If you have a thick phone case like a waterproof OtterBox you might have a little trouble keeping the phone in the mount. Overall great product!!

Tried installing it on both the lower and upper grab bar bolts. If you install it on the lower bolt, it does not extend enough to view at a decent angle. If you install it on the upper bolt, it is too close to your face and, more importantly, blocks the sun visor from moving. This is actually dangerous. I took a turn into a low sun and my choices were to either stay blinded by the sun or take both hands off the wheel to loosen and reposition the phone mount (you can't adjust it with one hand, and it also takes two hands to loosen the cradle and remove the phone). Another negative is that the cradle the phone sits in is not very deep, so will not work with a case that has a pop socket or similar design. Although it has all metal construction and feels very solidly built, the design is fatally flawed. I would have returned it if I hadn't already thrown the packaging in the garbage .... and after driving with it for a week, this product is going to follow the packaging into the garbage.

After a few moments of figuring out how the pieces go together because there were no instructions provided in the box I figured out how to be able to put it together and put mouut in my Jeep needed a extended 5 mm allen wrench to install

Installed on the bottom of the handle. Easy install and solid build. You do not need to remove the handle from the A-pillar to pull out the tether. I have a Samsung S21 Ultra with a bulky case. No problem with securing the phone. For the price you can't beat it!
