Mostly. The Platinum Classic line is a series of modern iron-gall inks, which means that as soon as it hits the paper the ink begins to oxidize and darken (going from its base color to a darker/black shade). If it gets wet immediately, some of the dye may wash away, but it will still be clearly legible. Once it’s dried and oxidized, it is almost completely waterproof and permanent. Iron-gall inks have been used for centuries, and they are the reason why we can still read medieval texts, etc. Note: Historically, iron-gall inks had the propensity to damage nibs with prolonged exposure. Modern formulations have mitigated this issue to some degree, but it’s still a good idea to avoid leaving pens inked with them for extended periods (I try to clean out my pens within ~3-4 weeks or so and it’s been totally fine).
