Book came in great condition. This book is the BEST book I've ever used to draw folks from photos..I recommend!!

This book has enough detail of how the faces were drawn to help me simplify my drawings. I tend to overdo them but this book made me think about composition and simplicity. I like how it has people of all ages and time periods. I have done at least a half dozen of the pictures so far and HIGHLY recommend this book. BTW I am a senior citizen who really just got into drawing about 19 years ago so this works for us other ones also.

Good book to get ideas how to draw heads with styles of years gone by.

My daughter is an art major and loves drawing faces in many mediums. this is a great addition to her drawing books and helps you see different perspectives on faces in detail. It actually teaches you how to as many books just show you general steps. LOVE! especially if you are a classic movie watcher like we are. Very cool...includes men as well and accessories like hats from the 40s, 50s, etc.

This is a must have for any aspiring artist. The instructions and numerous examples greatly simplify the otherwise complicated process of learning to draw heads and faces. The stylization and idealization of the heads and faces is also very inspiring (early to mid-1900s). I highly recommend this book. After I bought it for myself, I bought another copy for an art buddy right away.

Excellent ouvrage pour tous ceux qui veulent échapper au diktat de notre époque contemporaine et retouver le glamour vintage.Méthode step-by-step qui a fait ses preuves depuis 1 siècle.Dommage qu'il ne s'agisse que d'extraits des fascicules et non d'une édition intégrale de ce qui avait déjà été édité il y a 20 ou 30 ans.
