It feels like your average pencil. The no weight of it helps me draw lighter and makes it easier to erase. Btw, I compared the eraser on the Rotring 600 .5mm to this one and the eraser is better even if u don’t really care. I bought this one to compare to the Rotring and well it won overall. Rotring review will be left on it, otherwise this pencil is better just for overall daily use: its feel that affects the pressure of your markings (lighter but if u want darker then u can go Rotring for 30 more bucks or just add on layering as you go so better safe than sorry and going back to erase with a smaller and worse eraser as stated), sketching, good space and length from tip of pencil to paper, same eraser cap idea as the Rotring, and just the grip on the pencil is less pressure required than with the Rotring due to the rotring’s shorter reach.

This pencil is great, I have a few of them in different colors now. They are .5 lead which I really like as it isn't to big or too small and it writes great. The Pencil itself it great, it is super light and made of quality material. It has grips towards the bottom of the pencil which I typically do not like but the way they have done it I actually really like it and you really don't notice it, it is just there and it works really well to help keep your grip on the pencil which really comes in handy depending on what you are doing, whether it be writing or drawing this is a must have pencil overall and you will not be disappointed if you purchase one. Pentel makes great products and this pencil is one of them!

This pencil works great, but it's not as heavy as the Graphgear 500. If that's what you want, this is a great pencil. But, I prefer the heavier Graphgear 500. Also, I prefer the knurled grip on the 500; it gives a better grip. I also have the Graphgear Pro, which weighs the same as the 1000, but is not as nice.

This is my first "nice" mechanical pencil. Please be aware the body is plastic, but it is not a cheap feeling product. The pencil is comfortable to hold and use for short quick sketches, or prolonged writing. As you would expect, the eraser is really small. I carry an eraser with me anyways so this is not a big deal. If you want a large eraser on the pencil I would look at other options. The tip is also fixed and non retractable. Personally the last two features that I mention can be positives or negatives depending on what you look for.

Pentel continues to experiment with a wide variety of grip configurations in their mechanical pencils. This one looks to be a good idea with the soft silicon ridges. In my hand, however, the grip is uncomfortable. I've tried several times and just can't get used to it. YMMV of course.

I love Pentel products and had a similar one to this model. Considering the import delays, this arrived pretty fast and earlier than the indicated date.

j'ai mis du temps à choisir un modèle qui conviendrait et je suis ravie de mon choix. l'endroit où la mine est tenue, long et fin sans coque inutile, permet vraiment de bien voir quand on trace dans les gabarits. la prise en main est agréable, la petite gomme fonctionne très bien, et le rouuuuuge est si beau, c'est du plastique mais il a l'air presque laqué.bref : excellent achat, je recommande :).

Its so comfortable and little heavier than "for Pro" version. It came with little gift :)It delivered on 16.12.2016 and i get it 09.01.2017
