Hanwag Alaska GTX, Men’s Low Trekking and Walking Shoes

A really superb pair of boots, which I wore today for the very first time, walking for at least 3 hours, mostly across country, with no discomfort whatsoever. The use of a leather lining means the boots can be worn in warmer conditions without the feet sweating.The degree of cushioning and ankle support provided is excellent, and the normal width fitting (I am a UK size D) allows either a thin normal sock or a thick walking-type sock to be worn, and the lacing system allows the width to be adjusted perfectly to fit, as the yak-skin exterior is clearly very supple even from new. The special Vibram sole gives an excellent grip on ascending or descending hills. Worth every penny!

Do not buy these boots the toes are too small for your feet even in short walks . And they will not give you back your hard earned money back.

This is my second pair of hanwag boots and as like the first pair these are superior to many boots of the same type excellent quality and build worth every penny highly recommend these boots for hard going terrain where your feet are likely to get wet use with a pair of yeti gaiters superb in every way.
