The tube was bigger than expected which was good. I bought this after having an ash balayage in the hairdressers last week and was told to use purple shampoo to maintain but I know from previous experience purple shampoo dries my hair out so thought I would give this hydrating treatment a go!It’s very pigmented, nearly stained my hands but that’s fine. Didn’t dry my hair out. I only left it on maybe 3 minutes whilst I shaved my legs but it has brightened up my ash balayage for sure. Happy with purchase

I used a 10A high lift dye on my hair which was about 2/3 my natural dark blonde/light brown hair and a 1/3 blonde on the ends from previous dyeing.I left the john frieda purple shampoo on my dry hair for an hour but it didn't do nothing as it was pigmented enough.My hair was a very pale yellow but sooooooo yellow under artifical light (I was pretty embarrassed going to work), I tried to use a light ash blonde on my hair to tone it down but, it was too light and seemed to make it more orangey.I then used the pro-voke purple shampoo on dry hair for an hour. It made the top less yellow but still not ashy enough. So I decided to buy this pro-voke toning conditioning mask. I put it on my roots and then in sections through my dry hair. I used about 2/3 of the tube and I left it for an hour. It was very pigmented, it dyed my hands slightly blue/purple, so I would recommend using gloves. After washing it out and drying it the lengths of my hair are more ash in colour. The root section is not 100% perfect but it is a less harsh shade than it was and I will be happier going to work tomorrow than I was today!!
