Works perfect!
I didn't even measure, I just bought it and it fit my regular kennel perfectly. Gives my dog the freedom of a water bowl without worrying about it spilling or her getting her bedding in it. 5 stars!

Great refillable water bowl
I am very happy with this product. It was easy to put together and attach to the crate. The size is perfect for my 14 lb dog and the bottle is simple to refill. It is sturdy and does not leak. Now my dog can have fresh clean water all day even in her crate.

Perfect size, easy set up
I searched and searched for something the dogs couldn't tear up or spill. I finally found these. The only reason I'm giving a 4 is b/c they are plastic. My Aussie was able to tear into it (see pic), but it is durable enough that she gave up. They work perfect for my mini Aussie and my German shepherd. I was worried about her needing a lot of water during the day and she always has enough. My girl is a drinker to. I highly recommend. Super easy set up, took on vacation with crates and I love them.

My bunnies love these waterers!!!!
I first bought 1 to see if they'd use it or make a mess with it... No messes and it quickly became their favorite waterer! So I got rid of my other bottle waterer and replaced them with these. They work great, no leaks! I did have one where the ball got stuck and wasn't letting water out... I gently squeezed the bottle and that seems to have fixed it so if you have that problem immediately after refilling the bottle I'd suggest trying that.

Great buy - just check your bar space
I love this for my guy. After buying a half dozen "no leak" bottles that disappointed horribly; this was a type of last ditch attempt to keep my bunny's bowl filled with water (had resorted to an on the floor bowl). It has to be removed on when I clean the cage weekly and wiped out; but, it has NOT leaked or overflowed in the month or so that I've had it.My only caveat is that it is a bit wide where the bottle fits into the feeder, so check the bar width on your cage or crate to make sure it will fit. I only have a few available places on mine, so it has to be a bit higher than I would have put it. But, at least my guy is well hydrated and because it is raised, it doesn't get litter and other organic materials in it as much as the water bowl did.My guy is definitely happy, happy, happy for this improvement to his space.

Great only under ideal conditions
Overall, this product wasn't quite what I was looking for but it could definitely work well for some. Here are some specifics to help with your decision:FLOW: The water only flows correctly if it's perfectly level. If the bottle is leaning away from the cage, it doesn't flow at all, and if it's leaning towards it, it may not stop flowing. This is fine if the cage is stationary, but I was hoping to use this for travel and I just couldn't trust it.SPILL-RESISTANCE: The spill-resistant function does work. It keeps the water from sloshing around, with only a little bit on the actual surface.FIT: Without modification, the part where the water goes from outside to inside the cage will only fit cages where there is about 2 inches of vertical space between each wire on the door (so, most all-wire cages are fine, but a lot of plastic travel carriers have smaller openings). To make it fit a smaller opening, one would either have to cut out a piece of the wire on the cage or try cutting away part of the plastic water channel, which might lead to spilling/leakage.REPLACEMENT BOTTLES: The bottle that comes with it is fine, but if you wanted to use a bigger one I believe a premium bottled water such as SmartWater, which has full, solid threads, would work. A cheap 20 oz soda bottle probably would not.

Easy to attach to kennel and easy to fill the supply bottle
I have a 12 week puppy and I attached this waterier to his cage and he can drink water without stepping on his regular water bowl. No mess to clean up

Didn’t hold up
My dog chewed it and ate a big chunk of plastic in the first day of trying it. Unfortunately it’s not that durable.
