GE Lighting 97491 15 Watt A15 Soft White Light Bulb (12 Pack)

I rarely have any problems with any of my Amazon purchases. I tend to have positive experiences and as a result, post mostly positive reviews. However, this is one of those few very disappointing experiences. For a company to mess up this much on my first order is a huge red flag and I won’t be ordering from them again. To begin with, 5 out of 12 bulbs were burnt out- though they all came looking fine out of the package. Useless. The bottom of the bulbs were all rusty and old looking. I paid for new bulbs fresh out of the factory, not old ones fresh out of someone else’s trash. The bulbs themselves have black words on the top,an eyesore for sputnik chandeliers. The color is a yucky yellow with a hint of white- just nauseating. This color could *maybe* work for a larger space with windows/natural lighting but not for dark spaces as the color is a no. Not what i expected at all. I don’t know where all of these positive reviews are coming from. One of my worst purchases on Amazon, period. Will be returning for a full refund because some things aren’t even worth a replacement or a second chance, rather. Steer clear of these at all costs !

"A" type low wattage bulbs are really hard to find. I ordered a 12 pack of these from Amazon because I couldn't find them at any big box store. 15 watt bulbs are hard to find. I'd ordered a couple lamps that take only type "A" bulbs (which I didn't realize at the time), and every bulb I bought and tried was still too bright. I use one of the lamps for low light on a hallway table, and these bulbs are perfect. I leave it on 24/7, so I hope they last quite a while. I thought the price was pretty good since I got a dozen of them. I just don't really like the harshness of LED bulbs, so these worked out great!

LED's damage your eyesight. Why did the "gov't" take incandescent bulbs away..?? MONEY..!! Buy up all of these that you can......WHILE YOU CAN. LED's are the WORST thing you could ever buy. Damages your optic nerves, causes headaches, fatigue, and can even cause nausea in many people. Petition to get back REGULAR BULBS. LED's contain HUGE AMOUNTS OF LEAD ALSO. NOT A "GREEN" PRODUCT.

15 Watt bulbs are NOT for reading. Rather, they produce a soft, pleasing light that contrasts with a lot of the bright, white, glaring lights you see often. Nice for ambiance.

overall the quality of the product is perfect. The money spent for the amount of bulbs received is more than fair. However our wonderful postal service ended up breaking one bulb during shipment. I would ask for a better concept in packaging but not going to deduct a star because the value or cost per bulb is below average.

I had been looking for these light bulbs. Glad I found them. Really great price. Packaged well and fast service. I am very pleased with everything. Highly recommend.

These bulbs give off a soft light, unlike LED lights which are harsh. I tried LED lights in my hall light and found them to have a harsh white light. These lit up the area without giving off too much light.

I live in a huge old house and need to have table lamps with dim bulbs in them in various rooms and hallways all night. 15-watt bulbs have become practically impossible to find in stores. With this group of bulbs I'm all set probably for the rest of my life.

I wanted to get some low wattage bulbs for a brooder and these fit the bill perfectly, providing both light and some heat. the reason for the 3 stars is that 1 of the 12 bulbs arrived broken due to the packaging.

Dommage , j'ai deux ampoule non fonctionnelle , une de brisé en mille morceaux et une qui ne fonctionne pas du tout . Emballage pas assez sécuritaire pour des ampoules .
