Une ampoule a grillé
J'adore ces ampoules. Elles sont supposées tenir très longtemps mais sur la dizaine que j'ai achetées, une n'a pas tenu la semaine. J'espère que ça va durer dans le temps !

So simple to set up
The first smart bulb I got years ago was an absolute nightmare to set up, I eventually threw it away. But these bulbs basically set themselves up, you just have to put them in the socket! They are very bright so I have to set them to 1% for a nice soft light otherwise it's just normal light. I have put one in my bathroom and it fits very well in the sealed bathroom light fitting, and one in my study where I can make it bright when I'm working or nice and softly lit when just reading at night.Excellent product and connected automatically to my Alexa too which is a big help.

Very nice bulbs, but…
I like being able to adjust the brightness and even set the default brightness at less than 100%, but it can be inconvenient when you have to get a phone to make the bulbs brighter. And while they are pretty easy to pair, I find they often lose that pairing - sometimes 2-3 times a month (not all at the same time, thankfully). Purchased on sale, so I think they are a pretty good value overall. And it’s great to be able to turn off a light that the kids have left on.

It's early days but possibly best bulbs so far!
Not sure if I'll be putting a jinx on these bulbs but 2 weeks in use and so far so good.I'm now onto my third make of smart bulb and I realise technology advances over time but these were incredibly easy to set up and get running on a daily routine.Original Wemo bulbs needed their own hub in a power socket and weren't brilliant. Next Lepro (Lamp UX) were very unreliable with wifi connections lost on a frequent basis until I eventually got sick of them and bought these Tapo's.5 bulbs fitted and working within an hour - and that includes the fiddly cases on the garden, drive and porch lights! Work fine with our Google Assistant too. Fingers crossed it stays that way.Not sure if it makes any difference but I also have a Tapo range extender on the wifi which was in place before the new bulbs. I put it in to help with the connectivity of the outside lights but they still kept dropping out anyway. The Tapo bulbs have worked perfectly for now - let's hope it stays that way!

Works well, but be aware of network limitations
Once I got the bulb to work, it is great - I like the automations, including the "Away" mode that randomly turns the light on and off at various times (even my Philips Hue doesn't do that). It is very cheap for a smart bulb and works just as well. HOWEVER... I could not get it to connect to my Wifi in the room next door to the router. The helpful "move the appliance nearer to the router" suggestion doesn't work too well with light bulbs! I eventually had to use a Wifi extender into the room where the bulb is situated, and it now works fine.
