I apply a cycle of treatment to my lawn each year, scarification, aeration outside the growing season and then 4 calendarised fertiliser treatments in the growing season. This year I have treated the lawn for leatherjackets and chafer grub and these pests have taken their toll on the lawn. For the first time in 25 years I’m about to reseed the lawn, post scarification and aeration.Key to this process of reseeding was to apply this slow release fertiliser, always read the back of the bag for instructions and nitrogen mix etc. This is now doing its magic in the ground ready for reseeding 2nd October

I wanted to give the turf the best chance of rooting quickly because August is not the best time of year to lay a lawn. But it's been a wet start to the month, more like late September so I got away with it.The Total Lawn fertilizer was easy to apply at 25g per square metre, but it would help if a 25g measure could be provided with the product. I had 40sq m to cover so I used the whole bag (enough to cover 50sq.m) and spread it evenly across a top soil compost mix the day before the turf arrived.It's early days but it looks like rooting is successful and the fertilizer is doing its job. I will know for sure in about a week's time.

Initially we use the graduals as a pre turfing fertiliser then once the grass was established used it as a top dressing. The lawn looked so good that we have just laid another area and again used the Total Lawn as a pre turfing fertiliser and will again use it as top dressing. Initial turf has only been down for 5 weeks and it looks great.

Great purchase. Good value for money. Followed the manufacturer's instructions and used the pre seed and turf fertiliser prior to putting the new turf down. Within two weeks the lawn is looking good , healthy and we have had to mow it already due to the grass growth rate. Would recommend

I used the fertiliser before putting down lawn seed. Within 7 days there was an inch of new growth from the seeds!

The Product has worked well for me, my only issues, was that the way nit was packaged, it was not dealed properly, was placed in a Jiffy type envelope, that has been ripped during the delivery, and some of the product had consequently escaped due to this.I didn't lose much, but the product itself is very good, ahs assisted in a nice looking lawn..

I have had so many compliments on our new grass. I applied this fertiliser the night before the landscapers came to lay our new turf. They raked the soil before laying and the picture is the results after just 3 weeks. Highly recommended product
