THE BEST WELDING HELMET I'VE EVER USED
I have owned a half dozen name-brand welding helmets over the years, but this one really is a pleasure to use. Large clear window, instant darkening to selected shade. I have had cataract surgery and use a near-vision contact lens in one eye, and in a word "I CAN SEE TO WELD AGAIN"

Good product
It’s still just a welding helmet. I do like the smaller design and it is light weight. The field of view is about the same as far as what you’re actually welding. In light mode you can see better with your helmet down though. The headgear is better designed as well.

Best Welding hood I have used,for now.
The field of view and clarity with this hood offers is amazing. Yes, it is a little bit pricey but don't let that scare you.I use this for TIG and GMAP welding. I can maintain a more comfortable position due to the greater viewing area. The colors are clear and sharp.The Bluetooth function is a cool part trik but you probably won't use it often.The most comfortable head gear goes to Lincoln. The head gear with the G502 is OK but, after a few hours I need to take a break or make adjustments. I'm now sure why, it just doesn't stay in place.

View area is top knotch, head gear is flimsy at best
If you look at 3m hard hats it's the same head gear and it breaks very easily. For a grand this thing should be bullet proof and it's not even close. Lincoln c3350 is still smoking this hood all day. Its good for shop work and zero rough and tumble that's it.

I bought one of these first month didn't work had to send it in got another one a remanufactured one I assume worked for almost a year didn't work again now my warranties run out and they won't do nothing about it $1,000 Hood they advertise it as their heavy duty Hood it's not it's junk don't waste your money

Very light and great clear view butt..
The only problem is I weld aluminum all day and it falls into the range of amps the hood is rated for but my face gets very burnt when I weld all day with it witch is unfortunate because I love being able to see absolutely everything in my puddle and infront and behind but if you don’t rig weld at 300 amps all day it will work great! Had some issues with the lens’s cracking but 3m was very helpful and got me back up and running with in about a week
