Over the last 20 years I've probably bought 25 different pairs of gloves. This includes multiple taekwondo sparring gloves (the plastic ones), bag mitts, muay thai / boxing sparring gloves and pad gloves, MMA gloves, and more.For padwork, I normally use 12 ounce gloves, though have had a few 10 ounce sets in the past that were good for pads and sparring.For these Starpro gloves I opted for 12 ounce.I took them to my boxing class tonight to try them out. I let my friend Joe test them for a few rounds to get his opinion on them too and we both agreed about what we liked and did not like etc.Quality wise, the gloves are really good. Stitching looks solid and the inner lining doesn't stick to your hands too much. There was sufficient space for my hands after putting wraps on too.There are few things to point out though.Depending on what for you look for in gloves, these could be viewed as positive or negative.* There is a lot of padding at the front/top of the gloves* The gloves are a little short in the wrist area (certainly when compared to my Venom gloves which are also 12 ounce)* For 12 oz gloves, I thought these gloves were light; noticably lighter than my Venoms* The velco strap is a little short, so once I've wrapped my hands and put the gloves on, the strap does not go all the way aroundConsidering what I've paid for these gloves, I am extremely happy. In the past I've paid twice the price for gloves of similar quality.I like the padding in the gloves at the front and the fact they're lightweight. The main area it falls short in comparison to my Venom's is the total length of the gloves. I would have liked them to be a little longer to cover my wrist more. This was the main thing my friend Joe commented on too. He said they felt a little shorter than what he expected.Again, this is perhaps a personal thing as some other experienced boxers in the class have gloves that are even shorter.All in all, I'm happy. For the price these gloves are an absolute bargain and I have no doubt they will last years.

I tried out the M33's in my club and really liked them. I saw a review saying that these are nearly the same as the M33's so decided to buy these. These boxing gloves are very good. They do feel the same as the M33's but with a different pattern/style. They fit snuggly with hand wraps on and my wrists don't move around a lot unlike other gloves. I have small hands (circumference of ~18.5cm ) for context.I have to give 3 stars because my experience with the Amazon delivery was horrible. I waited the whole day for the delivery and got a notification at 4pm that the delivery was complete and handed to residents. No one knocked the door and there were 3 people in the house looking out for the package. The next day I found my package was left outside where someone could have easily have stolen it.The gloves themselves are 5 stars but my delivery experience caused me huge amount of stress and wasted a lot of my time.

Straight out of the box you can tell these gloves are great quality. They look cool, are comfortable and very well made. Really good quality gloves that are breathable and comfortable to wear for long sessions on the pads/heavy bag. I can really get some power into my punches with these gloves, and they make a very satisfying sound when hitting the pads! Wore them for sparring to tonight, and they didn’t disappoint!! I’ve had a few pairs of gloves, but these definitely come out on top. They are extremely good value for money, especially when compared to other gloves in the same price region. Would highly recommend these Starpro gloves!

An unbelievable pair of gloves at a very low cost, i brought the 14 oz gloves to help me with my sparring to get ready for my upcoming fights, fits my hands perfectly compared to some leading brands on the market, they are that comfy I will be using them for my next fight, the design allows the gloves to dry quickly after use, nothing worst than getting some gloves that don’t dry inside in time for the next sparring session.

I’m very picky when it comes to gloves. It’s an amazing fit, my hands feel protected from the wrist to the knuckles. I’m particular when it comes to padding as I’ve had gloves before that weren’t padded enough and ended up hurting my knuckles. I’m a semi professional boxer and do amateur mma so I need the best quality for my training and those gloves are really amazing. I’ve used them for bag gloves, drills, pad work and sparring and I’m extremely happy with them. The price is more than reasonable for such good quality. I recommend them to anyone!
