I purchased this book because I was chosen as the last mystery reader before summer break for my daughter’s class. The book was sweet, appropriate, and nostalgic. The kids and teacher really enjoyed!

Libro con delle illustrazioni molto belle, che riescono a rappresentare l'estate molto bene. Le didascalie sono scritte in versi, con strofe basate sulla ripetizione di "when... then...". Sono presenti anche attività molto americane, come vendere la limonata o assistere alla parata, che possono servire da spunto per parlare delle diverse culture ed usanze.

Ein stimmungsvolles Buch mit zauberhaften Bildern, die auf die schönen Dinge des Sommers einstimmen. Auch typisch amerikanische Traditionen kommen vor, wie "going to the parade" . Schade, dass es nicht mehr Bände dieser Reihe mit dieser Illustratorin gibt!
