I thoroughly enjoyed this series, and the ending really makes you think about the entire journey of these characters. The ending can be quite ambiguous but it will stick with you for a long time.

I enjoyed the ending to the Monster saga thoroughly, and felt quite happy that it didn't fall over itself trying to have plot twists and last minute revelations. Instead it was a bit of something new, and a lot of what Monster has done so well since its beginning. The ending, while apparently divisive, felt natural, earned and in keeping with the characters.

So I had originally seen this as an adapted anime and found the anime quite disappointing and could not get into it. Forward many years later from the anime and here is the collected editions of the manga. Began to read through them slowly and what an amazing story, fairly twisted but fantastic. would highly recommend reading the complete collected works of Monster manga, it is only 9 volumes and it goes fast.Only negative I have with the books is the hard dust jacket. It scuffs up easily, is slightly larger than the actual cover and leads to some corner damage to the dust jacket. Beyond that this is a fantastic story and read.

En sí, no tengo problema con la edición, la queja que si tengo es el hecho que no viene con un plástico que lo envuelva y que algunos (de los 9 tomos) vienen un poco maltratados del lomo por el mal manejo, que puede sea desde la tienda o durante el envío.La edición es excepcional, cada céntimo lo vale; hojas gruesas y blancas, buena tinta y un tamaño agradable para apreciar los dibujos. En cuanto al lenguaje se necesita saber suficiente ingles porque se combina mucho con nombres alemanes y tecnicismos de medicina.Lo recomiendo a fans de la serie o del autor, principalmente.Lo mismo para los otros 9 tomos.
