There's a learning curve
I've never supped before. Went out on the bay today, it was mostly flat and a light breeze. I fell off a few times, never got on my feet but I was able to get all the way up on my knees. I plan on putting a beach chair on it to use as a kayak, but figured I'd give standing a try. Didn't bring a chair though so that remains to be seen on balance issues. Maybe I'll outrig some catamaran floats as training wheels, especially if I try to use it in the winter. Anyway I guess that doesn't pertain to the product, so here we go:The pump is so much better than the little one I got with my inflatable kayak! When I read it was a two way pump, I thought that meant it inflated on the up and down stroke. I'm still not sure if it does, but one side sucks and one side blows, so you can use it to get the air out when you're done. Pumping didn't take too long, maybe ten minutes. The pressure gauge didn't work though, but I stood on it when it looked full, and it felt very solid. For deflating I pressed the button in the inflation hole to release the higher pressure, then I removed the hose from the pump and screwed it into the hole on the board, and rolled the board up to squeeze the air out. I didn't end up using the pump to suck every last bit out, and it still fit right back into it's bag, which I cannot say for my kayak. The board was great, felt very solid. I might not have been centered correctly because it was hard to go straight at times, though one time I must have been cooking as I was so focused on balancing I looked up and realized I was getting a bit far from shore for my first go.The paddle seems high quality too, it's metal but lightweight, probably will still sink though as it's not watertightCan't wait to try it with a chair, too bad all the stores just stopped carrying them once I wanted one, yet another thing I'll have to buy online, sigh

Durable paddle board as advertised. Excellent customer service!
I can't speak highly enough about both this product and the company. The Cooyes paddle board is exactly as advertised: easily inflatable in 5 to 10 minutes ; performs well on the water ; packs up compactly ; looks cool ; has a good mix of accessories. As a reference point on performance, here's a compelling story: I was adventure paddling at sea and inadvertently drifted out further than intended due to the current - past both the swim limit buoy and docked catamarans, which was pretty scary! Getting back to shore was challenging, but the whole time the Cooyes paddle board was very stable amidst the whitecaps and current. This was a situation where capsizing would have been very dangerous so I am extremely thankful for the paddle board's strong performance. In addition to a positive experience with the product, I also had a very positive experience with the company. I contacted the company twice with customer service inquiries and both times they responded promptly within 24 hours. The first inquiry turned out to be user error. I wrote in that my "defective" valve was leaking, and they nicely advised me to use the provided tightening winch and tighten the valve per the instructions. That solved that problem immediately - please keep this in mind when reading the reviews saying the valve leaks...sometimes it loosens during shipment and tightening it solves the problem. The second inquiry related to the bag. Overall, the bag is of good quality and certainly better than the bags I saw with other paddle boards. The cinch straps work well and the color scheme is nice. I had a minor issue with a seam that worried me a bit about it coming loose while transporting the paddle board and the company offered to send me a new bag without any questions asked.I hope you'll take this extensive review as a sign of how please I am with my purchase overall, and how impressed I am with the experience to motivate me to write a thorough review. Buy with confidence and happy paddling!

This is a performance review, not an "open the box" review.
The short version: Quit looking and buy this board.I've been paddling over 7 years and own several hard boards and 4 inflatables. For a high performance inflatable you'd need to spend at least double this amount for something like an Xterra, which I have. However, for this price range you can't go wrong with this board. In fact, I've bought two. It also come with a leash so that will save a few bucks.Inflate:The hand pump that comes with this board is better than the others I have. It inflates as well as deflates, but you're still going to get a workout. And if you're the average woman it will be difficult at best. My wife is strong and she has difficulty.I prefer the electric pump, which you can get the orange one here on Amazon for $70.00. I highly recommend it.Be sure to inflate this board to the maximum 15 psi. That one or two extra psi will make a big difference on the water. If you lose some air when you pull off the hose then re-inflate it.Ride:Unless you're a really tall, heavy person, this board is great for beginners ( check the weight capacity). We teach our novice friends on these boards before we move them to a hard board. If they fall or want to paddle on their knees, an inflatable is better than a hard board.10'6" x32" x 6" thick is a great size. DO NOT BUY ANY 4"THICK INFLATABLES.The nose on this one is slightly more pointed than a lot of lnflatables so it cuts through the water better. As you gain experience and want to go faster, the inflatables with a big rounded nose are going to hold you back. We have one and call it the Bus.The 3 fins keep the board tracking straighter, especially for beginners.32" is the maximum width I would recommended. Any wider and you'll be reaching out too far to the side, which will keep you from tracking straight and will also increase the odds of you falling off the side. That little kicker on the back is fun for more experienced paddlers. You can easily hop back and get the nose right up in the air for a spin turn. The paddle:As with all paddles that come with inflatables, they suck. Invest a few buck in the BPS adjustable carbon fiber or fiberglass paddle sold here on Amazon. You'll be glad you did.All in all, in this price range this is the board I would recommend. It is a really fun, stable board.Have fun and practice safety. Wear the ankle tether and a life vest or belt vest. I'm an excellent swimmer and have paddled for 7 years and I never paddle without a belt vest and a leash.

excellent product.
The quality of this paddle board is very good. Specifically, it has the following advantages. First, the installation is very simple. Put the paddle board on the ground and directly connect the pump to inflate the paddle board. At the same time, it is easy to deflate. Remove the lid, and you can vent all the air in a few minutes, which can save a lot of time. Second, the material used for this paddle board has high quality. It is not made of ordinary or cheap plastic, but made of very strong and durable PVC material. This material will not scratch the surface of paddle board even on the ground with small stones or rocks. Third, it is easy to carry. There is a handle on the top of the paddle, which can be easily lifted by one person instead of two people. Finally, this paddle board has a beautiful appearance and bright colors, which is very noticeable on the water. All in all, I like this paddle board very much and I recommend buying it. Since we bought this product, we can often go paddling on the nearby lake, especially when the weather is good, very comfortable and happy. I highly recommend this product to any serious buyers.
