Truly Waterproof
I got into a car accident and my car was flooded with water and I just so happened to have my notebook with me and it definitely held up. All my ink stayed on the paper. It’s really durable

You can write in the rain who would’ve thought
I bought the small notebook for my son who is in the army and he specified that it had to be a notebook that you could use in the rain and right in the rain. This one definitely fit the bill and I’ve ordered it twice since the first time You can’t go wrong with it if your army soldier is looking for one.

A Notebook to Live By
I was first introduced to Rite in the Rain notebooks at USMC Officer Candidate School in Quantico, Virginia. These durable notebooks come in a variety of sizes and are typically found in either green or tan. In addition, each size has a corresponding fabric notebook cover that are very useful. In my time in the Marines, I think I have tried every size / color / cover combination. This size is by far the most useful for anyone either in the military or who otherwise desires to use one notebook for a significant period of time. The other notebooks are a more convenient size, but have too few pages and quickly become filled with field notes, orders, lecture notes, grocery lists, phone numbers, maps, and sketches. This size can hold up to 4-6 months of notes for someone who writes in it every day. In addition, this size also has useful military information and reports in the back. It also fits well in a cargo pocket or vest pouch. The notebooks are durable, except sometimes the cover can lose it's plastic peeling. If they get submerged in water, simply let them dry and keep on using them. There are some pens that don't work well with this, such as gel pens. The best thing to use with this notebook are either regular pencils or plain ball pens. Permanent markers also work very well. I recommend these notebooks with enthusiasm.

All-Weather Field Book
Received very quickly & in perfect condition. Haven't gotten a chance to put it to use yet, but I can see that it will be quite useful.Planning on using it to make range cards and sketch cards when I go target shooting. The 1/4" grid lines on the pages will make accurate scaling easy, in combination with the English/Metric conversions and various scales listed on the inside of the front cover. Each individual page also has a small area in the corner for you to record your own custom scale ("One Square=____"). Lots of very cool/useful information listed on the final 16 pages & inside back cover. Maybe not exactly "usable" to anyone except military personnel...but quite interesting and fun to "play around with" if you're into military info (like me).Pages and cover themselves both feel very durable. Even if you're not using this to write in wet weather/climates, this book will likely be able to hold up to lots of hard use. Each page is also perforated for easy removal. I will absolutely be purchasing more of these when the pages get filled up. After seeing/feeling a RIR (rite in the rain) notebook, "normal" notebooks just don't feel like they "cut it" anymore for me.If you like the field-flex book as much as I did, I highly recommend you have a look at their product page. They have LOTS of awesome stuff, including looseleaf paper and printer/copier paper. Not to mention all their cases and all-weather pens...([..])

All weather proof
Took this to southeastern North Carolina during the summer when it rains every day and I needed something for class. I got this one and a few smaller ones for notes and a field journal. It rained on me 3 out of 5 days and it held up to every test it went through. From being in the river by accident to heavy downpours of rain, it never showed the first sign of degradation. Although the notepad I took into the river didn’t hold up as well, the paper never got soggy and it held up to its name. I will be buying more in the future for class and work since I am outside for most of my life. Great product that does everything it says it’ll do.

Great for ROTC
I am in ROTC and I needed a notebook to use in all types of conditions. I find this product works perfectly for what I need. It fits in my cargo pocket easily and is very durable. The notebook has gotten wet and has had sand crammed in between almost every page and the pages are still great. It does look a little worn but that is expected. It also works great as a hard surface to write on when you are out in the field. It is also nice that along the side of the pages they are perforated if you need to tear out a page. The binding is a little stiff at first and makes it a little stiff to open but with use it will break in very nicely.

Stop overthinking it, and buy one.
Thickness is kind of a stupid metric for a notebook. That aside, this notebook is pretty much perfect for what I needed it for. It fits nicely in the back pocket of almost all of my pants, it holds up well, and it is easy to write on (I use fisher space pens). I haven't really "torture tested" it, as in putting it through the washer, leaving it out side for a week, etc., but for day to day use, and daily carry, it is awesome.

Excellent
From the perspective of a light infantry NCOWorks as advertised. I'm on my third or fourth one. I've used it everywhere from the arctic tundra to damp rainforests, no issues. It will fit inside any notebook cover meant for the issued FMP(yknow the ones with carbon paper in the back). It has some reports and returns in the back but they're American so they're useless for me (commonwealth). The NATO standard mission taskverbs and symbols are useful tho. In the front it has a handy conversion chart for metric to imperial and vice versa, as well as more military specific things like the conversion of mils to degrees, and map scales.I highly recommend you save yourself the heartache and just use a pencil.

La mejor libreta de apuntes!!! Ruda.
