PetSTEP HalfSTEP Pet Ramp

I love that it’s one piece and I don’t have to fold/unfold anything. It’s very sturdy. The front grips fit perfectly on my truck’s running board and my dog can easily get in and out of the back seat with this.

I really wanted this to work, but unfortunately, my dogs just wouldn't go near it to enter our pool. It arrived as expected, is very well-built and sturdy, and maybe useful to other dogs or pet owners, but my dogs wouldn't go near it. I didn't want to pay more for the legs to go with it, so I was hoping it would work in my pool, but when the end floats to rest on the bottom of the pool stairs, it's too steep a vertical incline for my dogs to use it. And when the end floats up in the pool, it's too shaky for my dogs to feel comfortable with it. Also, the top part that rests on the lip of the pool doesn't stay in place. Even though it has rubber on the bottom to stay put, it still moves around when the dogs step on it, which scares them and they jump off. I tried training my dogs to use it, but they weren't having any of it- and since the whole purpose in getting it was for the pool, I returned it- even with the $12 UPS shipping return fee.

I have 3 dogs, ~70 lbs each, one starting to struggle getting through the doggy door which is in a sliding glass door frame. The transition for the dogs to get from the concrete patio outside and through the door and into the house is 18". This ramp was it for us. it has enough grip to rest on the bottom of the sliding glass door and doesn't move a bit when my young dog luna (lunatic) bombs in and out of the door. All three dogs had no aversion to the ramp and the old dog with disabilities is able to use it with ease. The grade of the ramp is perfect and the traction and outdoor durability seem to be on point. i should be able to use this in my car, too, though I haven't tried it yet. Well worth the price vs trying to create my own out of scrap lumber (i'd likely injure myself in the process). it has some cool add on's like being able to make it into a cart or floaty ramp for a boat. Note this was used on the outside of the house. a small threshold transition ramp would likely work on the inside when/if the time comes as that drop is only 9".

I bought this for my 10 year old, 80 lb dog who is arthritic and diabetic. I have a Mazda hatchback; without a ramp it is very difficult for her to haul herself up into the back seat.I gave this ramp four stars but that is only for the product & the company itself (ie construction, perceived durability, quick shipping, etc...) NOT for the usefullness of the product, at least in my car, which is not an SUV or particularly high. I give it two stars for usefullness and ease of use.The ribbed surface has good traction and the construction seems good. This ramp is too short to be used to climb into the hatchback. The angle is too steep and there is no "lip" to secure it. But, the ramp is too wide to fit in the rear door so we just cannot use it. I will try to make use of it in the house or back porch. I recommend going to a store to try this out before purchasing.

The pet ramp is basically as described on the web site & has good traction but is too short for my needs. I needed it to help my maltese get up on my bed by herself but she has bad hips & can not manage the steepness. I wish it either came with some kind of folding short legs on the floor end of the ramp or an attachment that would raise the bottom end up 4-6". I also would prefer it about 4" less in width. Otherwise the ramp is sturdy & well made. Thank You, Rena

VERY sturdy ramp! This is an absolute necessity for a dog if you can't lift it. We have two of these ramps. After back surgery our dog needed a way off the deck into the fenced-in yard. These ramps just cover the two steps down on either end of the deck. (A longer, folding version of this ramp is available if you have more steps for your dog to negotiate.) It took a while training him on leash, but now he has the idea and takes himself up and down. The ramp has a set of rubberized ridges to provide traction and to help the dog help himself up and down without slipping.The ramp needs some room to be settled firmly, so is not quite right for entering the back seat of a car. It is, however, perfect for our use. It seems to be indestructible, just what we needed.I would recommend the longer folding version of this ramp for entry into the back of an SUV or for covering more steps. It is also perfect for the job, just a bit heavy for me. We keep one of these in the garage for trips to the vet. All our dogs are too big for me to lift and you never know when one will be too sick to just hop in the car.

This Petstep HalfSTEP Pet Ramp is just what we needed for our 5 month old Shih Tzu. Poor thing is so short and close to the ground that she can not jump high enough to sit on the sofa or see anything other than ankles and feet. With her new ramp, she is able to get up in bed, bound up the deck steps and set and romp on the sofa. She took right to the whole ramp concept and is a master at flying up and down it. We like that it is durable and light enough to put just anywhere for her. Great product for short puppies and dogs who want to get to a higher level.

とても丈夫で人が歩いてもＯＫでした。個人的にはとても良い物だと思います。しかし、愛犬が気に入ってくれるかどうかは別。渡り板を難なく歩いてくれるなら問題無いと思いますが、おっかなびっくりな性格だと歩いてくれない可能性が高いです。うちの愛犬（コーギー）がそうでした。好奇心旺盛な性格や、物怖じしない落ち着いた性格なら歩いてくれるかと思います。安い買い物ではないので、購入前に愛犬の性格をよく考えてから検討する事をお勧めします。

持ちが良さそう洗ったりもガンガン出来そう。人が歩いてもどーも無い。が、かなり重い。幅もう少しだけ欲しい。すぺらないしくみが、犬にとってはもうか少し…。介護用だと足元頼りないなか、怖いから降りない。橋をかける最初のとこも、もう少し薄くないと段差大きく厚みあってモコってなってます。。初めてスロープ的なことに挑戦してるので、この様なコメントでスミマセン

飼っている犬が最初「なんだこいつは！」的な感じで使うそぶりもみせなかったのですが便利だと気付いた後は、ちゃっかりと利用してくれてます無駄にならなくて本当に良かったです犬も喜んでいると思います

庭へ出る時様に購入しました。階段よりも負担がなく、買って良かったと、大満足です。

老犬で、今まではクッションできた階段を使ってましたが、足腰が弱くなり、スッと登れなくなってきたので、これを購入。でも怖がって慣れてはくれませんでした。重さがあり、安定性があってよいモノだとは思います。
