Worked great
Needed to replace the iron from my original station as it broke. This was made to measure my existing station which meant I didn’t have to purchase a new soldering station. Great way to save money!

Works perfectly, just like the one that came with the SMD rework station. The only difference was the logo being white instead of gold like the original. Hope I can get as many years as I got from the original.

Works with Chinese Knockoff 862D+ Rework Station
The media could not be loaded. Works with Chinese Knockoff 862D+ Soldering/Hot-Air Rework Station.The heating element is not entirely ceramic like the original included with the rework station, but instead is metalic with possibly a ceramic-like core. In any case, it heats up and behaves about as well as the one that came with the unit. I have read that if you need to squeeze out maximum performance, you can replace the heating element with a genuine Hakko element and tips. But for my needs, this is good enough and overnight delivery got me back to soldering within a day.
