Bench Warrior!
Great board to work with. Bios is easy very simple took my 10900k to 6ghz on dry ice broke some records.Love the 24 pin and 8 pin cpu orientation. Has safe boot which helps when I can’t boot tuning ram. I’ve used many kingpin cards and classifieds before kingpin brands. Evga has the best rma of any company. This is my first evga motherboard definitely fun for a bench warrior!

Great EVGA Board when price is right.
Got this board right before the supply chain catastrophe and it was on sale. So in that regard, if you can get this board for around or under $400, your gonna be pleased. It was priced Just right with other Z490s before the Z590 chipset was announced. The Additions they made working with K|NGP|N over from the Z390 and regular Z490 is subtle but great.Easy to install, love the angled cpu design so I’m not butting up against the ram sticks.Appreciate the breadboard that comes with it for checking board out before installing.2 ram sticks instead of 4 is plenty for OCing and gaming. Good move making some more room on the MOBO. The difference from the regular board is that the 2 ram chipsets maxed out at 4800. Some people would think this is not enough, upping the rating at 5000mhz + each slot is pretty nice. More ram sticks doesn’t mean faster cache ;)2x M-key M.2 nvme is great. That was there before as well but again a nice to have. All metal PCIE x 3.0 brackets, lane switches, triple bios switch and on board temp and voltage.Overall: The mobo is way overkill if your looking for just an everyday board for some browsing and gaming. Don’t get me wrong, it is a workhorse and will do everything you need and more. It’s got all the nice to haves for a last gen chipset. Great for tinkering and running stress tests. Will last with good care. EVGA support is great. This really is great for your intermediate to advance OC’er.If your just starting out, I would not get this board because of the price. If your looking to burn a hole in your wallet, hey it’s your money....Update: yet to see the PCIE 4.0 compatibility for the new intel chipset even though other mobos manufactures have released that update to the firmware.Did have a similar issue with voltage spike that didn’t register on the Board. Still a great board though.

Don't buy
This board is horrible with voltages. It's blasted my CPU with 1.55V many times even when I put 1.25V for manual/override which should keep the voltage stable. I'm still trying to take this board
