This is a hefty tub of ferrous fumerate-based iron vitamins which will last you nearly a year.Unfortunately, before I got these vitamins, I neglected to look at the ingredient list and I see that the tablets contain the E122 food colouring. A quick search reveals that this synthetic substance has been banned in places like the US due to health risks. I will therefore not be taking any more of the tablets. I'm really not sure why colouring needed to be added.

Vitamin C helps you absorb iron, so it makes sense to package these together. If you have an iron deficiency then you need to buy ferrous fumate from the pharmacy because you can get a much higher dose which is safe. If however, you just want a top up, which is never a bad idea then getting these together is really good. In fact if you menstruate then this makes a lot of sense to take every day.My daughter in her 20's has been taking these now for three weeks and finds them easy to swallow, they don't upset her tummy and have no unpleasant side effects. These are good value and offer a balance in a single pill.

At £14.99 for 360 tablets these are great value as this is near enough a year's supply. The dosage is good for an everyday maintenance supplement although it might not be high enough if you have an iron deficiency.I like the fact that there is also vitamin C included as taking vitamin c at the same time helps the body absorb iron.The tablets are easy by to swallow as I personally dislike capsules that stick halfway down my gullet. These have a slight taste and aftertaste but not too bad for iron as other iron pills I have had before are much stronger.I hope you find this review helpful.

It’s great that you get almost a years worth of supply here. At one tablet per day this bottle of 360 tablets will last close to a year. You get a long best before date of almost 2 years on it too. The tablets themselves are very easy to swallow being of a small to medium size. They are clearly marked as being a vegan product on the product page. I like the mix of iron and vitamin C. The dosage of vitamin C isn’t perhaps the strongest but it is good enough to complement the iron in terms of helping absorption. At under £15 it is pretty good value for money especially as it is a vegan product.

Effective iron tablets thats freshly packaged and has a large capacity. Pleasant absorbency being easy to swallow as they are nicely sized. Also no stomach issues thankfully as they are gentle. Im happy to say i am already feeling less fatigued and dizzy when i get up.One of these a day with dietary sources and a gradual improvement.
