Q: Do these pill up over time?

The microfiber is hot, thin and cheap and this what causes the pills. True, 100% bamboo sheets do not pill ever! I went through my sheets and got rid of everything but my bamboo sheets. I have some that are more expensive than some other brands but the Bedsure brand feels the best, reasonably-priced. They feelike silk! Don't settle for these cheap imitation sheets! You seriously don't know what you are missing by sleeping on the real thing!

Q: in the description it states 6 pc- 4 pillow cases. how many are there 4 or 6? thanks

There are two DIFFERENT sets to purchase; the set with four pillow cases cost more. You can buy the four piece set (top, bottom sheet and two cases) or the set with four pillow cases which is the six piece set. You can also purchase sets of pillow cases without the sheets.

Q: Has anyone used these sheets with the Purple mattress? I'm concerned about the fit. That company recommends their bamboo sheets but they cost $200.

I have a similar bed from IKEA. Bamboo sheets fit any mattress that I've ever had. I usually buy the 100% bamboo sheets, but am thinking about getting these for the price. 60% bamboo/40% microfiber may be a nice sheet for the price. I wouldn't pay $200 for them.

Q: Purple have corner elastics and 2 pillowcases. Black and white have no corner elastics, came, 4 cases and feel different. Why?

I have no idea... i presume you ordered the same product as myself? I noticed in the descriptions of the different products that some had 4 cases, mine did not. I chose mine for the 16 inch mattress depth. A cheaper one had 14 inch and 4 cases.
