in this book,many words are meticulously sorted into divisions.if you are the type learning by linking words,this publication would be helpful.

Bought this and a Merriam-Webster Dictionary (same cover design, etc.) for my niece's 3rd grade son. You should have seen the anticipatory smile drop off his face when he saw the books. He'll thank me some day. Maybe. I've bought all my niece's and nephews (and apparently now their offspring) dictionaries and word books for the last 25-30 years. I think it's a good way to get them in the habit of reading, whether printed or on a screen. To my credit I also included a couple of sports themed children's books Amazon is offering by an author my wife knew in college.

It is a good assistance in building my grand daughter's vocabulary.
