Works. Can adjust from below 0C to very high temperature, this is good you don't have to turn the power off for it to cool down. I didn't check to see if it is properly earthed. I hope so.

Great piece of equipment for heating up SM PCBs. I suppose it’s quite expensive for such a simple piece of equipment but it does the job so I’m happy with it.

This product is dangerous due to the metal case not being properly earthed. While they have made an attempt to earth it, the case is painted which means that not all the parts are connected to earth. This is fixable if you have the appropriate skills to do so, but it absolutely should not be being sold in that state.It also comes with an EU power cord, which is illegal under UK law. You will need to buy an IEC lead with a UK plug, as commonly used for computers. That should have been included.If you get over those hurdles, well it can be used. Make sure you run it up to temperature the first time somewhere with good ventilation, such as in your garden. It will give off some smells. The hot plate isn't particularly even, but there are 4 heating elements. With a blank PCB placed on the hotplate, the top of that PCB measures about 20C less than the reported hotplate temperature - not sure if that is just the insulation effect of the FR4 board or if the reading is wrong.Temperature is adjustable from 50C to 350C. The low limit is annoying when you come to turn it off - you cannot just turn the temperature down, you have to actually turn the whole unit off so you cannot see the temperature while you are waiting for it to cool down. It takes a while to cool, too.The metal enclosure surrounding the hot plate gets very hot - well over 100C. If I were planning on using this a lot, I would probably look at filling the empty space between the hot plate and it's enclosure with some kind of insulation, to try to get the enclosure to a safer temperature. Or I might add insulation around the outside of the enclosure, to prevent me from touching it and getting burnt.The metal enclosure for the electronics & controls, also gets a bit hot - 50C in my tests (measured outside in free air). If I was using it a lot, I would look at putting insulation into the gap between the hot plate enclosure and the electronics enclosure, and perhaps adding a small fan to the electronics enclosure.

So disappointed. Wouldn’t turn on, when looked through vents on back could see wires unplugged. Took the back off to see if what I was seeing was correct. See photo. Terrible item will return

Très bien emballé, la notice est en chinois et anglais, mais j'ai facilement traduit l'anglais et j'en ai fais un fascicule en PDF pour mes besoins au ou...Mais j'aurai pu me passer du manuel, car plus simple en utilisation, je ne connais pas!3 boutons + 1 interrupteur de mise sous tension et c'est tout, mais c'est très largement suffisant.Le bouton étoile pour entrer en mode programmation de température et validation.Les 2 autres sont juste "+" et "-". A 280/300 °C tous les composants (CMS ou SMD c'est pareil) se dessoudent en une seule fois, il n'y a plus qu'a les prélever avec une précelle. (désolé, je ne peux joindre le PDF, format interdit)
