After a few years of starting plants in my garage, I decided to buy a second heat mat, didn't have time to order one, so bought one locally (JumpStart by Hydrafarm) It lasted one 2-3 week period last year, then a few days this year (2021) and died. My seedings this year all germinated about 2 days faster than the fastest time listed on the seed packet. It doesn't seem that warm, but it's apparently the perfect temperature and never overheats anything. Great product.

Works well

Mat worked as stated and it helped sprout my seeds in 6 days. It made the container warm and humid at 80 degrees or so.

Keeping my worm bin warm this winter - ok ... so we get a few nights down in the 20s but mostly it's keeping the bin above 45 degrees F. And it has protected the worms from freezing on a night that got down to 18 F.

My seedlings for tomatoes, peppers, impatiens, pansies & etc. did awesome using this heating mat. I probably left it on longer than I should but my plants are doing much more earlier than I expected and now worried for I have another two months before going outside into the ground.

This heat mat raises the soil temperature 10-15 degrees above the air temperature in a room, providing the necessary warmth for more rapid germination of all tropical seeds. It shortens the germination period for tomatoes and other warm-season vegetables, as well.

Cool product, wish you could connect multiple on series for large production.

The seed mat I got was not warm enough. It did not meet my expectations. I returned it. Only one spot got lukewarm of it got a little warm, after a full day on. The edges nothing at all on high.

Is doing what is expected. Easy to set up and use. Quality is.good so far.
