Melamine Blue/Green Sea Life 12-Piece Dinnerware set - 4 Dinner plates, 4 Salad plates and 4 Bowls

Amazing! I bought these for an RV, and although the pattern was perfect for a beach-themed RV, I really wasn’t expecting much. I mean, melamine is not fine China after all. But imagine my surprise at the exceptional quality of this set! First of all, the plates are thick and very sturdy. As soon as you hold one of these you can feel the quality. I have had melamine plates before and they always felt like plastic plates. These, on the other hand, almost feel like glass or Corelle. The other surprise was the vibrancy of the colors! Pictures, even my own pictures, do not do these justice. In real life, the colors of these dishes are really vibrant. This set is a winner!

I bought this set to replace some 20-year old galleyware my husband and I got for our wedding, and I am so impressed!! This stuff is really thick, heavy, sturdy, AND beautiful!! I actually think it will hold up better to regular use than the galleyware did. The finish seems to be harder, so it doesn't get damaged by silverware or even steak knives. The only thing it's missing is the rubber on the bottom, but we're in an RV now, instead of a boat - so our table doesn't generally move while we're eating! I highly recommend this beautiful dinnerware.

Melamine dinnerware sets are extremely useful at our beach house rental. I only wish more colors/patterns were available! Renters tend to break other dishes, but these are wonderful - and everyone LOVES the colors and designs.... bought several sets & will continue to buy more as more patterns are available... I cannot rave enough about these sets... the are not flimsy/inexpensive - they "feel" like a good quality product. Have gotten many compliments from Renters and Realtors!

The design is beautiful although I wish the dinner plates were a more interesting design. They are substantial feeling and thick. Not your discount store plastic dishes. The bowls are large. The instructions say to wash on the top rack of the dishwasher. Since I bought these for a rental unit (my husband thought they were so nice he suggested we didn't leave them for renters use) and I'm sure they will be put in the dishwasher in the lower rack so we'll see how they do in a few months. There's no way to put the dinner plate in the top rack anyway.

I must admit I'm disappointed that these dishes can't be used in the microwave. Otherwise they are very pretty and seem to work well. I'll use them for picnics and by the pool, and also when my grandkids visit.

All plates are crabs😩 Later found them at costco for $23 ea set. Upset with this buy😕

Ok so I've bought 3 sets of these melamine dinnerware. My dad kept asking if I was sure they weren't ceramic. Nice and heavy yet also holding up to the wear and tear of 4 kids and guests. I love the design and colors. The bowls are nice and deep. Couldn't be happier with the quality. Highly recommend!!!
