Replacement battery clips for my car.

I like this product for the convenience, but I do have a few observations after using them for a while on a solar storage system.The clamps on the battery terminals do not have a lot of material. It's two thin strips of brass surrounding each battery post. Notice, this product isn't listed with a current rating. If they transfer 250A, will they get very warm and will that have an impact on your solution?Next, the colour-coded plastic protectors protect the underneath of the live parts, but not the top where arguably it is more needed. I feel like a better design would have a plastic cover for the conducting parts.I am thinking of adding in some MRBF cube fuses to protect against accidental battery short-circuits with tools, etc. True, I could attach four insulated MRBF carriers onto the four terminal posts, but that would still leave a lot of exposed uninsulated conductor area. So, I am considering to replace these devices now with a heavier solid brass design, and a single M8 post to connect the fused sections.

Used on the leisure battery on my boat, where I need to connect both heavy gauge wires for an electric outboard and light gauge input from a solar panel. The terminal arrangement for my use is perfect - the first time I have been happy with the connections.I had to remove the plastic from one of the terminal connections to reduce the clamping diameter for my battery post. Not difficult, and just shows up the lack of standardisation between battery manufacturers.

These fit my standard size 027 570 CCA 60 AH battery. I have two cables going to the positive terminal (so, ideal), and two cables going to the negative terminal, which on my car needed extra work from me as the ends of those cables are not crimped. Otherwise trouble feel deployment. These connectors fit fine, and I've tested for connectivity---also fine.

Nice product, my only observantion is to really check the current fitting both with regard to the battery terminal diameter (15.7mm in my case).

Needed to replace old battery clamp as one had become worn and was loose, looked on line on went for these and they have done the job well,👍

These look the part but have to be opened up to go fully onto the battery posts. If you dont do this they wobble and come loose quite quickly.
