I'm so glad i ordered thus pillow. It indeed is about eight inches deep at the base. I'm short and this is ideal in lounge chairs that are made for much taller people. In fact I'm ordering another four.I ordered the pillow Oct 2 and it arrived today, the 27th.

It is so tiny and soft. Collapses flat with any pressure at all

I thought this would be a back pillow but the size is so small that it is hard to rest on this.Its very soft so if you do try to rest then this size will become even smaller.Trust me, look at the dimensions then buy it otherwise it will be very disappointing.The size is very very very small. I won't recommend it.

Pillow arrived rolled up as a cylinder. I left it open to swell in order to take its shape. After 2 days not much had changed. I purchased some fiberfill to add more stuffing,, and it took over 20 ounces. We'll see if the zippers hold up. It's a good size for lower back, which is what I wanted. Pockets on the side are just over 2 inches across, which is quite small... what can you put in there? I'm still deciding if I should return this item. Good things... there is a zipper on both the cover and the inside stuffed case... both cover and case have same shape. I would recommend purchasing a wedge that has a foam wedge rather than fiberfill. I'll be searching for that myself.

You see how nice and firm and wedge shaped this pillow looks in the picture? That is not how it showed up here. It was super squishy and flat. Not the least bit wedged or firm enough to be of any real use. I stuffed a full sized bed pillow in with the tiny flat pillow it came with. Both are in their to give it the desired shape and firmness. Ya get what you pay for I guess. I should have read the reviews.

I bought this because my comfy TV watching chair was wearing out and I needed more back support. I thought this would he'll.I thought the shape would give some structure and be stiff, much like the chair snapped pillows of the 80s and 90s. I was wrong. There was hardly any structure to this at all. It was very soft and wound up serving its purpose by being able to be stuffed in the gap between the back of the chair back and seat.

I purchased two of these for a teacher to use in her classroom. They came vacuum packed in a Tyvek envelope that had a hole in it upon arrival. They are small, understuffed and misshapen. The seller took no care in packaging them. They also had loose strings of different colors all over them. Very disappointed that the seller could justify selling these at over $10 a piece.

I am only 4'10 for this wedge works well for me, but it is not for a larger person, it more "child size"
